Did anyone get to enjoy their extra hour this morning? I put ds to bed later last night with hopes to sleep in this morning. No luck. 5am on the dot he was up and at 'em. He typically wants to cuddle and watch pbs for a little but this morning he woke up and said "play!" I hope others got an extra hour of sleep or some quiet time!

Our son came in our bed last night and then slept until 7:15, which is an hour later than his normal--so two hours!! But like cattuccino it wasn't great because he was rolling around and restless and I had to get up to vomit a few times. Yuck. Still, it was nice for him to sleep in.
We changed our plans at the last minute yesterday and went trick or treating with my niece and nephew instead of going to the trunk or treat. It was fun, but so freakin hot! We picked a light costume for DS because of this, but we were all sweating about 5 minutes in. Maybe next year I'll wear a bikini!
So against my better judgement I let MH talk me into an actual scary movie last night... I definitely did not enjoy my extra hour of sleep so I see a nap in my future!

Ah! No!
I cannot do scary movies at all anymore.
Nope.
Yep that was it for me. I kept waking up to see if my dog was calm cause obviously she would sense something of an evil monster was lurking
I am normally a really late sleeper, but I've been crashing so early that I wake up at what is probably a reasonable hour for most people. DH had to be at work at 8 this morning, so when he got up I ended up getting up for the day. I don't know what to do with myself! I have brunch plans and I feel like it is taking FOREVER to get there, ha. Not enjoying a few glasses of wine on weekend night probably has something to do with it as well.

I love scary movies! October is great because Netflix is full of creepy stuff
I'm up 30 minutes before I normally get up, but I guess that's actually 30 minutes later(?) so I slept in a bit but not the full hour. I'm trying to remember to enjoy these things, like sleeping, which may not happen when we have a baby.
jjh1119 you're making snickers (or other candy) pancakes this morning RIGHT?!?!?!
Let me live vicariously through you!!
(H is making me French toast. Still good...but....not what I had in mind but he's making it, so I can't complain)
TOTALLY made the pancakes this morning. They were ridiculously rich and I was only able to eat 2. But I'm ready for a snack now (I'll change it up and have a kit kat )
LO got plain pancakes. H doesn't really like sweets and didn't want them. I made them anyway. Suck it, H.
I've been up since 6 with screaming children. Morning sickness hit me hard Friday and I'm not coping well. Today we have a church party and then going to my mom's for dinner. I'm going to have to tell My family I drank too much and I'm hungover to hide the ms.
Ds passed out after TOt last night during dinner. it made for a nice relaxing bday dinner and we came home and he slept in his own bed a few hours running to ours. He slept until 7 so I can't complain too much!
We also put DD to bed an hour later and she didn't nap real well yesterday afternoon. She was up at 4:40 which is early on a normal day! So tired!! Also really frustrated with her sleep. She just fights going back to sleep no matter how tired she is. So now we are all miserable because she won't sleep in and is not going down for nap well! Anyway hoping tomorrow morning is better.

Good luck! I hope you can get a nap
Thanks! DH has been playing with her a lot so I can rest but I'm so nauseous it's hard to sleep.
We forgot to adjust DS's wake up clock last night so it was still set an hour ahead, he was up at 6am.
I was already awake anyway though and I've enjoyed having an 'extra' hour this morning. I read the newspaper, made french toast and compiled my dinner and weekly shopping list...and it's only 9:30!

DD went to bed an hour later than normal and then woke up at 630 (what used to be 730) so really not bad. Her usual wake up time is anywhere between 6 and 8. Of course she had a super nasty diaper which then made me puke so that was fun. And this is why I think H should be in charge of morning diaper changes
Probably the most productive Sunday in a long time. We didn't get to sleep in, but was able to run and now am at the library to study. MH is being awesome and getting a lot of one on one time with DD.
DH is out of town. I got up at 7. The only thing I did was unload the dishwasher. I feel pretty crappy. I tried to eat, but it didn't go over well. I got back in bed. I now have to tutor from 2-9.
