DH had to work today so I was up at 5 when he got up for work (because I had to pee). DS slept until 6:15 and then played in his crib until 6:30, this would have been his normal time without the fall back time change.
I'm impressed by all you ladies who are pregnant with children right now. I am having enough trouble with my pets and they are pretty self sufficient.
It's so different this time around with having a little already. I can't just....sleep when I want to/need to. And trying to lift and carry her I can see becoming bigger issues too.
I hope your LO went to bed reasonably easily. cattuccino, Luckily he went down instantly for us.
I also agree, it's so completely different this time around. First baby my mind was constantly on the fact that I was pregnant. I napped all the time, let chores slide and basically didn't do anything. That's not possible now. I actually feel bad, but I just push to the side the fact that I am. I have so many other things I have to focus on. I look forward to feeling the baby and having a second, but I am NOT looking forward to getting bigger. Keeping up with my LO is tough as it is. I just hope in a few months he will be able to do crafts/sit for a few minutes. Understand what is going on.
I did not want to adult today & was a moody mess most of it. So catching up now. I was in the boat of early waker & hope he sleeps longer tonight. Amazing how different of an experience I'm already having with this new LO. DS was a breeze in comparison.
jjh1119 I so want some of your pancakes but then the though of chocolate makes me want to gag right now. Which is so sad.
regal I hope your family bought your hangover excuse & you are feeling better!
birdhut sorry for DD sleeping troubles. We went thru a massive regression a few months ago & that's when I gave in to sleep training sort of. Hope tomorrow is better for you.
packerfan4life I almost threw up on DS just changing a pee diaper this morning. Not cool.

I can see it getting harder later in the pregnancy, but I compare it to people who have jobs. I work from home and I can't imagine being pregnant and having to work in an office. When I'm tired during my work day, I just take a break. I think same thing applies with ds... When I'm exhausted and im by myself with him then we watch pbs or I lay on the couch while he plays. Definitely looking forward to 2nd trimester and having energy back.

This is definitely a saving grace. Part of BTDT is I know this is temporary. So DD gets a little less active playtime from mommy right now, a few weeks of more independent play aren't going to hurt her at all.
jlabbe1123 thanks! We've don't sleep training but it seems like she has forgotten and with not feeling well it's hard not to just do what you have to but I need to stay consistent!

I normally woke up at 5 AM, so sleeping in until 6:30 AM was a challenge. I was up at 6 and finally tossed and turned enough to wake H, had ST, DD woke up 2 mintues later and I was back to sleep for a nap by 9:30 AM. I cannot sleep enough. I was STRUGGLIN to stay up until 9PM. The fatigue is killing me. I need it to end.

Yes! DD is 30 pounds and I'm winded carrying her upstairs now. Already.
