Avery has figured out how to get child proof medicine caps off. I've caught her taking vitamins. We originally had all medicine except the kid vitamins in our bathroom closet on the top shelf. I had their vitamins on the top shelf of their linen closet. Today she told me she took 2 flinstone vitamins (regular dose is 1/2). I'mgetting really freaked out that she was able to get them down and open in just a few minutes. We need a better storage solution. Any suggestions?
We keep our in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. The occasional stuff is in the linen closet in a basket on the top shelf. The linen closet has a baby lock on the door that dd hasn't even tried to open. Her vitamins are in the kitchen on the top shelf of one of the cabinets. That would freak me out too!
We have pretty strict requirement because of fostering, but if she's sneaking medicines they may work for you! We are required to keep any and all medicine under lock and key. We bought a little over the toilet cabinet for 50 at lowes and installed a keyed lock on it. It looks nice, didn't ruin our real cabinets and is super safe. Upstairs we keep kids medicine and diaper creams locked in a keyed box. The only unsafe draw it has it that Emma thinks it looks like a treasure box so she always wants into it. Luckily she can't get to the key, but if we ever accidentally left it unlocked she would definitely be in it.

We may have to get some sort of small locking box. She's never tried to get anything besides vitamins but even that can be dangerous in large enough quantities.
On a side note - the pedi told me to call poison control. The lady that answered was so rude. She made me feel so dumb for being concerned, even though she took 400% of the dra for iron.

Boy. We don't have ours under lock and key. Cosette has never shown the least bit of interest and has always listened really well to us about stuff. We have it spread out in different places but all are as high up as they can be. She isn't a climber and really has never even gotten up on a countertop before to open a cabinet. I have thought about it a lot lately and think we should probably change it out. We used to have all the toddler locks on every cabinet but took them off a while ago when she just seemed so grown up about things and understood what was food and what was not. Maybe I'm fooling myself.
Eta correct spelling and took off locks for realtor photos too.

Our medicines are in a kitchen cabinet that's not very easily accessible. The kids climb onto the counter tops sometimes but have never tried to get the vitamins down from the cabinets.

Most stuff is in a basket inside the cabinet above the fridge. The more daily things like vitamins and allergy meds, probiotic, Tylenol, fiber, etc. are in a kitchen cabinet right above the sink or on the counter (her daily allergy med - so I don't forget!) but they're super out of her reach even if she had her stool.
