Hi ladies,
I have been lurking your board for some time now, as my due date was the 28th. Now that I actually have the babe, I feel the need to chime in more
?. So is it ok if I join?
My sweet Theodore (Theo) was born on Halloween morning at 12:30am, only 2.5 hours after my water broke and labor began. My first son took 24 hours so I was not prepared for that. When I started feeling "pushy" at home I realized "oh shit we need to leave now!" And was barely packed. We made it to the hospital just in time and Theo was born within 30 minutes. Of course, no time for any meds, so I think I scared the whole mama unit with my banshee yelling and moaning. But eh, it was Halloween after all.
Anyways, it's all coming back to me how challenging newborns and babies can be (mine likes to basically nurse non stop during the day), especially with a toddler thrown into the mix. DS1 is 2.5 and is so much fun!
