What do you give to your DH/SO for Christmas?

I would like to surprise him, but don't want to spend a lot of money, since we share all our money and buying each other expensive present is not in our budget. I am thinking something within $100.

He is not into fasion, likes electronics, but already has everything he needs, likes fishing, tennis, photography but does not have any time for those hobbies, travels quite often for work. Likes to do some home projects, but usually so busy that can't finish them forever...

Help me come up with perfect gift for my "perfect" man

If he travels a lot would he find a dual time watch helpful? That way he will know exactly what time it is where he is and where you guys are if he calls or texts. I got one for my Dad one year because he travels/vacations a lot. I found a reasonable one for around 40, but I bet you could find a nicer one for just a little more.

My husband is lego-obsessed so I'm getting him the lego dimensions game for his Xbox. I'm still trying to figure out what characters to buy with it.

H and I usually pick a house project we would like to do or something fun for the house and do that

If I decide to buy him a gift this year (he has been buying things for his bike the past couple of months, so I feel like that should cover it) I would get him a new shirt of his favorite NHL team (I just noticed it has a hole in the armpit) and I also saw a deep fryer that is on Cartwheel for 25% off. He has always said he wanted one.

H and I make a list. He has such burning things - a new t shirt for his college, socks, underwear, winter gloves. He has new shoes on there and always asks for a new pair of running sneakers.
He also asked for a bamboo pillow. Looks comfy!
So basically he gets his essentials for the year. He doesn't ask for big things.
We do a lot at llbean bc we have one close by. They have great stuff for traveling and the worlds most awesome return/exchange policy.

My H has been really into steaming crab for himself and the bean and doing it in our smaller rice cooker (which has seen better days). So I'm getting him a much nicer version. Also nice Steak knives (We are down to 3). And a beer brewing kit, every year he likes to try something different. He likes hot sauces as well so I usually get a couple different ones for him to try. So for about $100-$150 I feel like I can get him a few decent items, even though it's nothing big per se this year.

Since he travels a lot for work, maybe some nicer travel items like a nice toiletry bag or fancy shaving set.

I have no clue what to get my H this year either.

I have no ideas for you as apparently I suck at dh gifts. I've tried beer of the month and the gc to drive a race car. He hated both. I've decided he gets socks.

So far I got him socks and a pair of PJs - Captain America ones. He just had his bday and I got him a small amp for his guitar.

We usually make lists that are generally comprised of clothes. We aren't that exciting.

We don't really do gifts - just stocking stuffers. I'll probably get him a new Lego set - he & Dagny have been into Legos lately. Otherwise a new movie and maybe a nice bottle of Gin.

Oh and I got him a cell phone and a drone for his birthday and anniversary which are this week which are other ideas I suppose.

I'm getting H a pair of slippers.... and I have no idea what I was going to get him from the girls. He apparently is done for me and has supposedly spent around $200 - which is way more than what I was planning to spend on him, from me and the girls combined.

So now I need more ideas too... there are some good ones here though. He's also alluded to wanting a new pillow for Christmas; not very exciting, but I think I'll spend the money and get a "good one" for him instead of a target pillow we got a few years ago.

I've thought about getting a "remote" for his play station since we use it for Neflix, Hulu and to watch movies (it's our DVD/BluRay player) and it's annoying using the game controller.

And he's always showing me crap from Eddie Bauer since he has a man crush on that store - I have about 4-6 items in my phone saved that he's claimed he "wouldn't mind" for gifts....

My H just mentioned he also could use some new Allen Wrenches. Tools are always a good idea if he is handy.

This year I think we are doing a "gift to us" and getting a new tv for our bedroom. Although I am regretting it already because now he wants to put our main TV in our room and getting a bigger tv for that small room. Men!

Some things Ive gotten him In the past are some fancy shave stuff from sephora, ugg slippers, an athletic watch.

H really doesn't have any hobbies and no obsessions so we typically spend on the house for birthdays or holidays. However, last Christmas I got him concert tickets and he loved it. Could run you over $100 but it is something different and usually unexpected.

Probably will let him buy a new power tool. I told him we shouldn't buy for each other since we're building a house so he'd probably "need" some tools anyway.

We usually don't buy big gifts for each other. We take the kids to shop for the other but it's always something small. We're going to Disney just before Christmas so we're scaling way back this year.

Yes I spent $75 on a pillow. But I bought it in August 2013 and it is still awesome. I used to buy a new cheap pillow every few months.
