SO/DH's Facial Hair - Tell Me Bout It

I've noticed a lot of our H's have beards. Is it because they are trendy? Does your H have any facial hair? Do you like it, or would you prefer something else?

My H has a beard. I prefer scruffiness. He looks like a 10 year old when he's smooth shaven and it creeps me out. I'm not a fan of the beard, but I don't hate it. Whatever he wants, I guess.

No facial hair. He used grow the beard on his chin. (I'm so not hip to the names) but he shaved it off years ago and I'm happy with a clean shaven face.

Edit to add I like his face a couple of days between shaves. A tiny bit of scruffy

DH has a beard mainly for work, it makes him look older. I like it but needs to be groomed, I don't like it getting all crazy or anything.

DH does anything and everything. From creepy pedophile mustache to chops to full beard to clean shaven. I like that he has versatility and don't really have a preference

My DH has a big ol beard right now, but he was growing it until LO was born for fun and just hasn't cut it yet. He's usually just got some scruff. I've only seen him beardless a handful of times. I Love his scruff beard the most

He has a low cut beard. I love it. He used to be clean cut, but I hipped him to his facial hair calling.

He also used to have a curly mustache, that was also just for fun. He grows his facial hair different ways for hockey playoffs.

DH grows a two-day scruff every weekend and that's as much as I'll allow. I hate the texture!

DH has had a full beard for the past nine years. Keeps threatening to shave it off, but doesn't want to have to shave every day.

DH cannot grow a beard very well...he gets the 5 o clock shadow which I'm into. He used to have the chin beard like famousea said her H did. Not so much.

DH just shaved his after looking like a grizzly best for a few weeks. He goes through stages with beards. I prefer for him to have a little but if scruff but that can be rough on DDs sensitive cheeks (she's broken out a few times from his kisses) so I think that he may have to be clean shaven for now.

He has a goatee(spelling?). He hasn't shaved for several days and last night ds1 wouldn't give him a hug or kiss goodnight because he said DH's face hurt him. Lol. Dh shaved this morning.

DH goes back and fourth. Right now he has a pretty full goatee and mustache. Sometimes he's clean shaven, sometimes he's scruffy. I like all of his looks. My favorite is probably a well groomed light goatee but smooth face kisses are the best

Beard all the way. DH calls it a "business beard" because he keeps it well groomed.

He definitely looks better with a beard. I love it and encouraged him to grow it. Now he's had a beard for 5+ years...

Full beard, also mountain man style. I love it. But if it gets to duck dynasty level, I would make him trim it. He looks weird shaven now since he's rocked the beard for so long.

I think the last time DH was clean shaven was our wedding day - nearly 5 years ago. He grows a mean beard. I love it.

DH also has a beard! So funny since when I first met him 12 years ago he had about four hairs on his face.

DH was clean shaven when we met, but I made him grow a mustache and goatee. I like my man scruffily.

My H couldn't grow facial hair if he tried! He has such a baby face. He gets carded all the time for being under 18 or 21 and he's 30! It annoys him but I keep telling him that someday soon he'll be glad he looks young for his age.

While in the service DH had to shave daily and I did not like it. I'm happy with his 2-3 day scruff he grows out now.

Nothing. He would need to be clean or close-shaven for his job, but il even if he could go beard-crazy I prefer him clean-shaven. I don't really have anything against facial hair, but DH's doesn't really grow in right (he has very fine hair), so it's not for him.

He prefers the scruffy look and I prefer smooth. He does scruffy for awhile, then shaves for me. Then scruffy fir awhile... Etc

My husband shaves daily. His beard is so coarse that I won't let him near me if he has any stubble.
