Tomorrow we are hosting our annual Friendsgiving. I can't wait to have all our friends and their kids over to hang out and eat delicious food!
Tonight is just me prepping food and my house like a crazy woman.
On Sunday I have a mini holiday photo session scheduled for Liam. I booked the appointment before his accident. The photographer told me she can touch up the stitches if they are too glaring in the photos. I just hope he cooperates and we get done good ones!
We do... maybe. We have only been in our house for a year and don't know many people (besides one family across the street who we spend every waking moment with on the weekends). Anyway, we decided with the friends across the street to have a "neighborhood getting to know you" party. It's tomorrow. My friend and I dropped off about 30 invitations in our neighbor's mailboxes a few weeks ago. We've had 2 rsvps. We have a shit-ton of food and wine and maybe two guests. This could get interesting. ;-)

Not anything super exciting but my mom and my sister are celebrating their birthday on Sunday so we are all getting together to open presents and eat pizza. Since I didn't get her present today I'm going to the mall tomorrow by myself!!!! I'm ridiculously excited about that! Then Shane needs a dessert for Sunday so I'm going to test out a new recipe for gluten/egg free funfetti cupcakes. I hope they turn out ok. I hate making special food and having it be a flop, it's just such a waste!

I hope more people show up traceyt07! Although having all the wine to yourself isn't so bad
Riverdong11 friendsgiving sounds so much fun! I really want to do that one year except maybe in February so it's more of an off time when I don't see my friends very often.
traceyt07, that is such a good idea to get to know everyone. I am surprised so few rsvped though. Too bad. We know very few of our neighbors. We should do something like this, dh would never go for it though.
We have nothing planned tomorrow, but Sunday we are going to a friends house for a football party. My husband and I are so not into football at all. Hopefully it is more of a chatting party with the game one in the background. This will be the first time Emmett will have seen football. That might also be confession worthy to some.

Something I thought was a good idea to get to know your neighbors was a block facebook group or page. I just found our block page and it's good for getting everyone together.
Have fun traceyt07! I'd for sure come if I was your neighbor!
Tomorrow I'm taking D to a fire station tour put together by a mom's group I'm part of. I think it should be a blast for him! Then I'm going out with some of the other moms in my neighborhood for drinks that night. Yay!
Then the usual grocery shopping and what not. I'm trying a new recipe for Ramen noodles. My H and D love regular Ramen noodles and I'm trying to find a healthier alternative. We'll see...

I'm going out to dinner with my BFF tonight. My FIL & SMIL are coming tomorrow & staying the night. They haven't seen Freya since just after we brought her home from the hospital so I'm looking forward to them being here. No other plans!

Nothing exciting here. Just unpacking, sleeping, and making a gigantic trip to Target for new house stuff. It's been a busy two weeks so we're excited to chill at home.
Tomorrow Kayleigh has swim lessons in the morning (not going so well...) and then H and I are off for some date time We are going hiking, then off to a couple wineries and finally dinner. Of course the one day we decide to go hiking its going to be really cold, but I'm hoping the wine warms us up
Sunday is then a catch up day of cleaning, food shopping, etc.
Riverdong11 we used to have a Friendsgiving and it was SO fun!! Love that idea
@sumergirl1211 how did the move go??
Not too much here, Elise had gymnastics tomorrow and then our high school football team is in a playoff so we may walk down to the game since it will be so nice out. H has a gig tomorrow night so I'll just stay in with the girls. I may talk him in to going to an open house on Sunday..

cbear, thanks for asking! It went as well as could be expected. We packed in a downpour Wednesday night and unpacked yesterday in freezing weather and lots of wind. But we had help both loading and unloading, which we are super grateful for. It really couldn't have gone much smoother, besides the weather!
Nothing! And it's kind of nice. We had a busy October and beginning of November with all sorts of weekend activities planned. It was fun, but next Saturday we leave for visiting family and it is going to be a long drive so it's nice to have a low key weekend before a crazy one.
We are at Wisconsin dells and enjoying the water parks. Sadly hanna's already begged to leave because she doesn't want to get wet. It could be a long weekend. Then on Sunday the kids go home with my parents and h and I drive up to green bay for the Packers game.

We have a benifit tomorrow am. Pancake man and such for H's cousin who has brain cancer. Then honestly I may pick up and work Sunday. I need a break from my house.
Like the saying about the cup goes "You can't pour from your cup to give to others if your cup is empty " I am in serious need of sleep and a break.
Tonight I went to a trade event (a fashion show) and it was really fun. The day at was a bit stressful, but it all worked out and ended up being great. I'm so glad I made it work and went to the event. I got to spend some good quality time with my coworkers which was good since I've been out so much this year, it's been hard to really get to know them along the way.
Anyway, tomorrow J has swimming lessons... we'll see if she even makes it onto the pool deck this week... we didn't even go the last 2 weeks. Such a huge waste of money. Then the afternoon just chilling and hopefully organizing stuff around the house.
Sunday H and I are hanging pictures and shelves in the morning... I think J might go to IL's for a bit... then we'll watch the football game at 3 and that's about it.
trixi282 - I'm glad I'm not the only one suffering at swimming lessons. The last two weeks Kayleigh has thrown a major fit at lessons. Of course all the other kids sit there perfectly and do what the teacher says. So all the parents are looking at us....grrrr.
Today is dds first birthday party! I'm an emotional sap this time around lol. Tomorrow is a fall festival at ds preschool so we will go for a bit. Hopefully some time to be lazy Sunday after a busy Saturday!

Happy Birthday!!! I'm still living in denial that our little ones are turning one.
