Oh roo1582, you're most certainly not alone! She absolutely loves swimming lessons last year (with us in the water) and was really excited for swimming lessons when we signed her up... Especially after summer and playing in the water. First one she got in, but definitely didn't like it and 1/2 way through the 30 min class she say on the side of the pool and refused to get back in. She hasn't touched the water since... There's only 2 sessions left. I'm so angry.
They do offer her age group lessons with a parent, soi think we might try that next session, just to get her comfortable with the whole thing again...

Tonight is our night out while we drop the bean off at the ILs. I'm going to color my hair so it's done for photos next week. I think I have our outfits planned and bought some stuff yesterday. Today I'll clean up and let H play with the drone I got him for his birthday last night. Tomorrow we might take her to bandana square for a train museum if we are motivated.
Finally getting some things hung on the walls so it feels more like our home! One small area done, lots more to go! My favorite pics of art and we finally got my wall cubes up and I'm displaying my collection of red vases (some of them, haha). The cubes haven't been hung since my first apartment in DC, that I moved out of in 2006!! I'm so excited to get them out of storage and use them again!
FYI: the chairs are IL's hand me downs, we want to reupholster them (and maybe get some new front legs) or just completely replace them eventually... They're just NMS at all.... But they're comfy, and they recline!
I had my bff over last night and we drank and made the ornament escort cards for her wedding. All 102 of them...
Close up...
The boys just left for a family thing and I'm just chilling until I have to go to work. I'm going to finish Cooper 's bowtie for the wedding (he's the ring bearer) and maybe sew some more things even though I SHOULD be getting my school work done.
Thanks for thinking of us, mightybee! It went pretty well! We had abt 25 people come. Met some nice people who live right around the corner and even got invited to a birthday party. All in all it was a good experience. Lots of left over food though!
