I need some ideas for Christmas gifts for both my mom and my MIL.
I'm doing some photo gifts and an arts and craft gift from Liam for everyone, but I'm stumped on what to get them.
I'm making no-sew sports blankets for my dad, my FIL, and my SMIL. I have a couple of small things for my dad too. Should I also get some small things for my FIL and SMIL to make it more even?
I have no specific ideas yet, but I normally get them something to do with their hobbies. My mom is just starting quilting. If she likes it, then I will probably get her some things for that. My dad likes fishing and more recently hunting. I will ask my mom what he could use for gear for that. MIL likes cooking. We normally get something off her Amazon list for that. FIL is outdoorsy stuff, wood cutting, hiking, or Star Trek. I know that is very specific to my family, but maybe it makes you think of a hobby they have.
No clue for my parents. They just moved to AZ and majorly purged all their stuff before the move, so I'll probably get them some house item. H is responsible for his parents. His mom's bday is the 26th though, so I already told him we should get her a keychain from etsy that has all the grandkids names on it.

No idea really. My mom in particular is super picky. We will get her a gift we think she will like, and then she just wishes we got her a JC Penny gift card. I really don't like giving gift cards though and try to avoid it if I can.
I did a calendar of M last year for all the grandmas, so I might do that since it was a big hit.

My mom is a huge walker but is having foot trouble lately so I'm getting her a gift card to the walking store for some new shoes. As well as C's school photos. FIL gets GCs for car washes and Perkins for his guys mornings out coffee/breakfast with the guys. They don't like stuff. FIL I might get the Birchwood cafe cookbook. MIL will get school photos as well and maybe a bunch of smaller stuff. She is a quantity person.

I usually get my mom lotions from bath and body works, gift card to her nail place, K-Cups for her Keurig, there's a K-cup store near us that just has walls and walls of assorted k-cups and you can go around and pick out as many as you want, so its not like you have to commit to whole box of one flavor to find out what you like best, so she likes the assortment. I may have Dahlia pick them all out, she'd like that too. She also asked for a screwdriver set, random but I'll have that be my husbands gift to her.
My Dad we get his Amazon loaded up so he can get more books, clothes, and ties, typical Dad stuff.
I may do a photo mug for him and my Mom (divorced) of pics of the girls.

We have been getting my in-laws sporting event tickets lately. My FIL is very hard to please with gifts and thinks we shouldn't spend any money on him, but we've finally found something that he can't resist. I also always do a calendar with pictures of Tyler. My MIL usually gets a Macy's gift card or an outfit, a book, and anything else small she might ask for.

Following because I never know what to buy them. My parents and IL's basically buy everything they want/need, and my IL's in particular and very brand conscious and only want "the best" of things.
For years my dad has just done gift cards or cash. My mom told me he called her last week and wanted to do better gifts this year and asked her what me and my sisters could use and then he texted me a picture of a toy he saw a commercial for and asked if A would like it. So that's super adorable and I want to make sure I get him a good present too.
I think we'll be renewing a Zoo membership for my mom this year (we did it for her last year and she was able to take Joey a few times, and they had fun). We might upgrade it to the "Grandparent" one, which allows as many grandkids as you want for free with her, but not sure the price difference yet....
IL's I'm not 100% sure, but H does a decent job of looking for his own parents. So far he wants to get his dad an Eddie Bauer shirt (not surprising since he's obsessed with that store) and he isn't sure yet about his mom. He had some shorts for his dad, but returned them for some reason....
