Super nauseous this morning. MH made stew last night and the house still smells like it. Plus the idea of taking leftovers to work makes my stomach turn.
Oh dear I'm nauseous this morning too, but luckily no lingering smells to fuel it. I hope it passes. And maybe you don't take the leftovers today, treat yourself to something else nearby?

Good morning! I'm so happy because I'm taking the day OFF! I worked really long hours for the past few weeks and had to work all weekend too to meet a deadline, so I deserve it. I have a HUGE to do list at home though, including like 6 loads of laundry, and cleaning, and grocery shopping, and everything else I've neglected to do for the past 2+ weeks. But at least I can do that all in yoga pants and a sweatshirt
Sorry you're nauseous bighair12. I haven't been able to pack a lunch at all during first trimester. Instead I have to go to the cafeteria every day and pick out whatever seems least unappetizing. It's totally random and unpredictable and it's killing my budget!

1. I just bought DH a stupidly expensive gift for his grad school graduation next month. I am splitting it as his graduation and birthday gift (which is in January)... I feel 33% bad for putting it on credit, 33% excited to give it to him and 33% thrilled about making a big purchase.
2. I am so sorry to say this.... I am super paranoid because I am not feeling bad at all. Like not even exhausted. I don't like this.

virginiaorjohn... I have a u/s on the 30th so i'll just need to relax until then. Nothing to do but wait anyway. I'm so tempted to buy a doppler for my over busy brain!

I agree with you on being paranoid about not feeling bad. The last week I've had minimal symptoms. Aside from some headaches, I feel pretty normal. Even my bloating seems to have subsided and I'm looking and feeling relatively thin. I'm about to go to my OB appt in 15 minutes and I'm nervous. I had so much discomfort for the first 9 weeks, then week 10 came last Friday and its all gone. It's so crazy that we get worried when we feel too good:)

Flair Underwood, oooh, can I be nosey and ask what you got your H?
Also, I totally get the paranoia over symptoms. Mine have been very mild - basically just an extremely finicky appetite without severe nausea. And now, at 11 weeks, they're pretty much gone.

Hahaha, frecklesnbrains.... we buy boots. It's kind of our "thing"... He has red wings, Chippewas and Fryes... I just care about Frye. So, he's had his heart and eye set on these American made, engineer Frye boots. He's lucky i love him and don't get stressed about debt. I called to check inventory in his size and they only had two pair left... So I reaaaallly wanted to wait for a black friday sale but didn't want to risk not being able to get them.

Awesome! I love boots. I bought myself a really nice, handmade pair of Justin cowboy boots when I was in Texas earlier this year and I don't regret the splurge at all! Even a New England girl needs at least one pair of cowboy boots!
Flair Underwood, I worry about not having enough symptoms too... I keep smooshing my boobs to make sure they still hurt cause that is the one thing that has been constant. I probably look like I am feeling myself up all the time.

I have one pair of beat-up 8 year old Fryes, they are indeed amazing! Speaking of boots, I have my birthday dinner tonight and I *hope* my parents got me a gift card to Nordstrom so I can get these: m.shop.nordstrom.com/s/sam-edelman-penny-boot-women/3302621?origin=category Want. Need. Come on parents!
Also, I had sardines for 7am breakfast and now I think I am going to have a leftover taco for 10am snack.
EDIT: that was supposed to be SALTINES as in the crackers!
Re. symptoms, I know I've said this before but it helps me put things in perspective when I start to worry - My only successful pregnancy to date was pretty much symptom-free. I had a super easy pregnancy with DS. My last pregnancy was chock full of symptoms and ended in a loss, and the symptoms this pregnancy have been pretty bad so far but things are going well. Each pregnancy is different and the symptoms are only a part of the big picture. It's so hard to not worry though, I get it, so hugs to everyone who might be worried about a lack of symptoms.

Happy Birthday virginiaorjohn !!! (Also, sardines for breakfast? Strange pregnancy craving or is this typical fare? You are BRAVE! I think that would make me sick and I don't even feel nauseous right now)
I, too, worry about the lack of symptoms. So hugs to everyone else going through that right now. I don't feel 100% normal, either, so I just have to keep reminding myself of that. I hate that I have to wait 2.5 more weeks until my next US! It's making me crazy!

I am jumping on the nausea train today, too. Almost threw up in the kitchen sink this morning. Then I started retching again (but thankfully nothing came up) when walking from my parking lot to my office this morning. It is a two block walk on city streets so there are always horrible smells, plus are doing construction under the roads and there are awful smells wafting up from the sewers.
Today is a day I feel like I just need to crawl back into bed.

I gasped out loud when I saw those boots... they are beautiful! FX you get the gift card!

I think that's one of the things that throws me a curveball - since this isn't my first pregnancy. I've had one successful pregnancy and loss and I'm always comparing now and it's hard. It's crazy how everyone experiences pregnancy differently, even the same person.
