HALP. I am lazy and need a cleaning schedule to not be lazy. I am thinking of making a thing where each day Im doing a different chore, one day of week will be a weekly chore, one week a month will be a monthly chore. So:
What are some cleaning jobs you do on a daily basis?
Once a week?
Once a month?
Once or twice a year?
Thank youuuuuu for your help

H and I are terrible at regular cleaning routines so about the only thing we do weekly is laundry and dishes regularly. All other cleaning is done randomly when we have time.
Daily: Wash dishes Wipe down countertops, table, and DD's chair Pick up clothes/ random crap laying around Sweep dining room and kitchen Pick up DD's toys and baby dolls (she helps)
Weekly: Go through stacks of mail, paper and "art" from daycare Sweep rooms that get heavy traffic
Every Other Week: Clean bathrooms
Monthly: Vacuum whole house
I suck at it. H takes care of the yard and does renovations on our little guest house, so I definitely bear the brunt of housework.
#1 item on my to-do list is to hire a monthly housecleaner.
There is literally nothing I do daily. I pick up clutter every few days but it could be
The only thing I do weekly without fail is change our sheets. I should vacuum and sweep/mop weekly but realistically that only happens every other week most of the time.
H cleans the bathrooms basically whenever I tell him which usually ends up being every other week.
Dusting probably happens every other time I vacuum etc.

The kitchen gets cleaned daily/every other day. It depends on our schedules, really.
The floors gets vacuumed Wednesday & Sunday, my days off. This is only because we have a robot vacuum cleaner & all I have to do is turn it on.
We try to pick up after ourselves, so the house isn't always a disaster. We pick up all the random stuff around the house every couple days. Laundry happens at least once a week. Everything else happens whenever we have time or someone is coming over.
The husband and I work opposite schedules and we're both lazy. He is in the process of switching over to working during the day & our schedules will be more similar. Once this happens we'll sit down & set a specific daily/weekly chore list.

Uggg I HATE cleaning. DH usually will clean the kitchen on the weekend while I'm sleeping (I'm a lucky gal)...but aside from that I try to vacuum 2x a week because we have 3 cats and 2 little dogs so that means a TON of cat/dog hair. I also dust once a week and do laundry 1-2x a week depending on how much laundry there is. I'm REALLY against doing the dishes by hand so I run the dishwasher when full....so pretty much what I'm saying is that I'm no help LOL! The only thing I try to do consistently is dust and vacuum...thanks to the pets.
If we are having guests...which we rarely do because of where we live we will spend the WHOLE day cleaning inside and out...this means shampooing the carpets throughout the house, making sure the toilets are sparkling and the kitchen is spotless.
I clean ALL THE THINGS every damn day.... then I lose my shit every once in a while and tell DH that cleaning isn't my hobby! Ha, that probably doesn't help but maybe gives you a laugh. I have to have the house clean before I go to sleep, it makes me NUTS!
We clean up the kitchen everyday, because no dishwasher. The rest of the house gets picked up semi-daily, depending on how many toys are lying around. I try to clean the bathroom weekly, but it doesnt always happen. And I try to vacuum weekly, but again, sometimes it gets forgotten until company is coming.
