A Bump workaround? (Not for gifs, unfortunately)

If they actually start enforcing new TOUs, what do you guys think about just moving the J15 group to an obscure board on TB? We'll be less likely to attract WKs and snowflakes, and thus less likely to get monitored/flagged/banhammered. Plus we'd get to keep the format, SNs, etc.

I got the idea after seeing a couple of admins test out their powers in the Ottawa regional group.  Their posts are the only ones there: forums.thebump.com/categories/ottawa-babies

Haven't really thought it through, but wanted to throw the idea out there as an alternative to creating a fb group. And GBCB still isn't super user friendly IMO.

p.s. One of the admins on the Ottawa board definitely uses his full name in his SN. Googling him gets you to his resume, address, phone number in about two clicks. Good job, dude. Way to internet!

This works sometimes, but usually the Bump Gods figure it out and boot the non-natives. The only time I recall it sticking (in my long history of knotting/nesting/bumping) was when the Advice from Brides (knot) moved over to Caribbean Nesties (in a knot format change protest*).

Ah. Bummer, but good to know. And yeah, they must be seriously lacking institutional memory over there.

I'm with poohbearlove--proboards doesn't bug me. I like the app better. I can't even with the snowstorm. Not to mention anger. I'm still gonna hang there for a bit, too, just to see if it comes around, but unless almost everyone comes back, I'd rather hang out with the mean bitches.
