What kind of cookies are you making this year? I always do a cookie exchange and I just can't think of something good this year. I need something easy. School is zapping all my energy.

Ugh, this always gets me. I pin a million of them over eager and then time runs out and it gets down to the wire and I run out of time. I think my for sures are the candy candy twist cookies PITA, peanut butter balls and the oreo balls( last two aren't really baking so they go fast). And I like to make snickerdoodles for my husband.

We do sugar cookies, chocolate chip, no-bake cookies, gingerbread cookies, chocolate cherry and chocolate mint, and we might do a candy cane cookie this year. We may have a cookie/baking addiction in this house.

I don't do cookies because mil is the queen of cookies and we get SO many!
She makes: Italian wedding cookies (my fave) Brown rim (a shortbread cookie with sprinkles) Chocolate chip Peanut butter kiss
When I made cookies my favorite was salted caramel chocolate. A chocolate chip cookie with 1/2 the chips, add a caramel on top, sprinkle sea salt after baking. Yum yum!!

I don't bake much anymore because I don't have anyone to give them to. Last year I made sugar cookie cutouts that I decorated with Liam. That was fun and I want to do it again this year.
In the past I would make chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter blossoms, snickerdoodles, rolled sugar cookies, buckeyes and then I would pick a new recipe to try out each year.
I really miss baking. I need to make time to do it more often.
I always make chocolate chip since that is pretty much the only cookies H will eat. Then I make snickerdoodles and some cut-out sugar cookies Kayleigh can decorate. I think I am also going to make some peanut butter cookies and possibly some brownie cookies. I always make way too many cookies but I love making cookies at Christmas time.
2 years ago we did sugar cut-outs... last year I didn't bake anything since we moved.
My sisters birthday is 1 week before Christmas, so tradition with her bff and my mom is to bake on her birthday (or the weekend before). So this year I'll probably head over to my moms house with the girls that Saturday and have a girls baking day. They always do a whole bunch... last year mom was helping me move so they didn't do any
MIL usually makes a handfull too and does 1 or 2 cookie exchanges and ends up with loads of cookies that she sends home with all of us. So I'm probably not going to make any extras beyond that, this year.
