Hi there Looks like I've made it over here from 3TIF!
A little back story... sorry its a little long.
DH and I started TTC back in September of 2011 (before we were even married). January 28th, 2012, I got a BFP. Sadly I m/c March 2nd. Since we conceived fairy quickly, I didn't think anything was wrong, at least not with DH. But as the months went by and nothing happened again, we decided to see an RE. Our first appointment was in October 2013.
We ended up being diagnosed with very low motility, and a low normal (5%) morph. January 2014 we started doing IUIs, although the first cycle got postponed due to my hashimoto's not behaving and needing to increase my synthroid dose. We did two with femara alone, then took a 3 month break so DH could take arimidex to try and improve his counts. It seemed like it worked when he had his repeat SA (to the point the RE suggested TI instead of IUIs but I said Id rather do the IUIs), but for our next two IUIs (this time with Femera and injects), it reverted back to the same as before even though he was still on the medication. At that point it was determined out best bet was IVF with pICSI.
In November I had my ER. I had 37 follicles total, 26 eggs retrieved (the rest had no eggs in them), 20 were mature and 19 fertilized. I was supposed to have a fresh transfer, but because of the 37 follicles, despite every effort to avoid it (gatorade, protein, cabergoline, baby asprin) I ended up with a moderate case of OHSS. I had the option of still proceeding, but I was told I had a 30% chance of it becoming severe if the transfer was successful. I already felt extremely horrible (couldn't eat, couldn't lie down, was bloated like crazy) so I decided it was best to wait, even though I really didn't want to. We ended up with 8 frosties.
So we waiting until this month. I had a 5 day transfer on the 20th, and we transfer a 4BB and a 4CB. Within a couple of days I started to feel as if AF was on her way, so I was worried it did not work. I even started to get nausea, but I randomly get a few days of nausea so I thought it was just cruel timing to play tricks on me (plus, isn't it early for ms?). I could feel a pressure in my ute, but I wasn't sure if it was a result of the endometrin. On Wednesday (8dp5dt) I decided I didn't want to wait any longer and POAS. And it was positive. Since I work in a lab, I ran my own beta that day, and I was shocked that it was 364! In my previous pregnancy it started at 52 at the same time (7x higher!). Did I also mention Wednesday was January 28th? It made it a little bitter sweet. I had my "official" beta at the RE today, and beta is 613, a doubling time of 42.56 hours.
I'm having another beta at the clinic on Sunday, and if all goes well, I will have an u/s two weeks later. I'm hoping I didn't intro too early here and that all goes well this time around. EDD should be October 8th, 2015
BTW, whoever decided to call it "morning" sickness, and that it isn't supposed to start until 6 weeks, is full of it! So far this is all day long nausea and started before I was even 4 weeks! But in a weird way it's reassuring and I actually start to worry a little when it feels like its better lol. The things IF brain does to you... I guess that will never go away!
