Gift you are most excited to give

So what gift are you most excited to give? To who?

Mine was totally unexpected. I ended up wandering the aisles on my girls night out with one of my friends (we left the girls with the dad's while we Christmas shopped and just browsed for hours at TRU). I got Coco a standing microphone. Not something I would have thought of in a million years. But I know she will die. She loves to pretend she is on stage and put on different tutus like she is an Equestria girl and sing sing sing. It's going to be painful to listen to since she can't carry a tune, but who cares.

My brother, sister & I chipped in to have all our home movies converted to DVD so I can't wait to see my parents reactions to that surprise!

I'm also super excited to see Dagnys reaction to her Calico Critters house

Kevin made Tyler a custom Thomas the train with a book to go with it. Tyler's going to LOVE it!!

I found a farm themed wooden train set on Amazon for Anna. It was a really good deal and the child loves trains. I can't wait to see her reaction.

I got M a Paw Patrol comforter and decals for the wall. He already has a rug and talks to the characters on there, so I'm sure he'll go nuts for this.

Definitely our new puppy for the girls! Also the drone I got for my BIL and dad they love big kid toys lol

My FIL collects knives. This year we are getting him a really nice one. We've never done that before, so he's going to be so surprised!

Two for my dad: a complete collection of an old tv series he used to watch, and I got tickets for him, me, DH, my brother, and SIL to all go to the Star Wars movie after the new year. We never hang out all together so he will be happy.

I got a great cyber Monday deal on the Barbie pop up Camper Van that Dahlia keeps seeing the commercial for and begging for. I also got a deal on the Barbie saddle n ride horse she also said she wanted and I told my Aunts to get her Barbie's! She will be so excited! (don't tell my work lol)

StarLily will be back in stock next week here so if I can score one, I just must have her. That will be a joint gift since her and Juno love unicorns.
But who am i kidding, i want her for myself.

Robin has been asking for Hiro from Thomas for months, so I'm excited for him to open that. And he loves musical instruments and I found a kid's set with a clarinet, saxophone, and trumpet. My ears are going to want to kill me but I can't wait to see his face when he opens it!

Abby is getting a bike from Santa. She has been talking about it for months so she will be super excited.

I told my MIL the best gift for Jack (at least I think), a stuffed Thomas from Target. He is currently obsessed with trains and he sleeps with two wooden ones. I hope he sleeps with the plush one instead!

It's a fisher price one with some accessories.  It's used but it was in great condition.  They are so expensive and I didn't mind getting it used.   It's similar to this style, but looks completely different.  It's got the middle large section with the sides folding out.  It's probably as tall as her too.  I even have the baby crib, baby and other cool accessories.

I bought the boys an easel (which I still need to take out of the box and make sure all the pieces are there before Christmas Eve building session) because they both love to paint/draw.

I also got DS1 the Paw Patroller. He super loves Paw Patrol and has been asking for this since before he knew it was a real toy. My nephew is getting one too and they will have a blast playing together.

H and I got engaged on the bow bridge, in Central Park, at the beginning of January. I found a Christmas ornament in the shape of a heart, with a picture of the bridge in winter, and it looks just like it did on that day. I really hopes he likes it as much as I do.

I am excited about the Yankee swap present I got for dh's family Christmas. All the guys in his family love Star Trek. I got a pizza cutter that is the USS Enterprise. Yankee swap presents are normally horrible, but this one will appeal to half the people participating.

I got JA a microphone too! He loves to sing and play his guitar and he always turns something into a microphone. He is going to love it. Maybe we can put our kids together one day and they will make enough money to take care of their old moms! Lol

Kayleigh has really been into space and Miles lately, so I think she is going to be really excited to get one of the Miles from Tomorrowland spaceships. Although Andrew is still probably too young for it, we got him a Cozy truck. I'm sure Kayleigh will really love that too. And for H, I got him one of those drones.

Ok, so I have a new favorite that I can't wait to give. I got a "stubby strip" and I'm giving it to my secret santa and my H. I'll fill it full of beer. It's so cool looking and can't wait to see their reaction.

Tommy wanted a Linus and Lucy itty bitty from Hallmark. We haven't decided if we'll put them in his stocking or have the Santa that visits school give them to him (we provide a small wrapped gift Santa presents to them) What do you think?

DS has been telling everyone he is getting a teenage mutant ninja turtle pizza thrower from Santa because he saw it in the toys r us ad so I'm super excited to see his reaction. Plus it was like $23 so I'm enjoying that his most wanted you was cheap

I bought this for half price at target and I am really debating giving it or returning it. What do you guys think? DS is totally into space because of Miles and I was thinking it might be cool for his room (so when he wakes up at the ass crack of dawn he has something to do). I'm worried because it's construction it's silly to spend $45 on.

I hear you! We bought a storm trooper mr. Potato head in anticipation of the Santa gift so we might just give that.
He also asked for a pogo stick. Since August!! So I'm excited to give that too.

I have a new one too. The kids are getting power wheels! They are so expensive that I wasn't sure we could do it. There's some irritation involved because I told MIL about it and that I wanted it to be a Santa gift. I asked if they were interested in chipping in. She went and got the big one for Em and a knock off small one for Nicky. From them.
So I'm super excited because they will get them but disappointed that Santa isn't bringing them (our big presents were always from Santa when I was a kid). It's dumb, so I'll get over it. Especially once we see the kids zooming around!

So I read somewhere that parents should consider when buying Santa gifts, it said something about kids telling each other what they got from Santa and the kids who didn't get big expensive things would wonder why Santa brought them less. So parents should give their kids the big gifts from them and keep the Santa gifts smaller, Or something like that! I thought it made sense!

I am excited to give Benjamin his gift from us, a big Star Wars ship with characters. My hubs has a model one and Benjamin is always wanting to play with it but it supposed to be just for "display" lol it has super small pieces. This one we got him is the perfect size for Benjamin! Also, Santa made a teepee for the kids to share! I'm excited for that too!!

I do that, but only because I'm an AW and want c to know that WE gave him that awesome gift.
