I'm totally in a rut and barely cooked last week. I don't want to keep picking up dinner and paying $20 a night so maybe we could share either meal plans or go to recipes for busy nights here? I would appreciate it! I could really use an easy chicken breast recipe of anyone has one. I absolutely hate touching raw chicken so the easier the better
We like to do Chicken Fajitas with chicken breast. In the crockpot. Super easy.
Some of our other go-to's are steak with peppers and onions. Sometimes the store already has this prepared. Cesar salad with chicken or steak, pork chops with a veggie side, mummy hotdogs (an easy favorite of Tommy's), pasta- all different kinds, steak sandwiches, breakfast for dinner.
We aren't the most adventurous with dinners but we are getting better. My mom made a crockpot steak the other night. It's really easy and only 3 ingredients. You can have it on sandwiches or on a salad. Or just plain! It's flank steak, brown sugar and hot sauce.

We do eggroll in a bowl a lot, crockpot salsa chicken, Thai chicken (the store bought sauce) with steamed cauliflower and rice, or crockpot teriyaki chicken as quick go tos.
I do roast chicken thighs with carrots, onions, potatoes, and prunes often. Easy and really good.
Any kind of chili/taco skillet is pretty quick and extras freeze well. Bonus is D loves this meal lately. Sometimes I stuff extras into a pepper for something different.
Another time saver is putting a roast in the crockpot overnight.
You could roast a big pan of veggies over the weekend and have them for meals for the week. Squash, potatoes, beets, carrots, cauliflower are favorites over here.

I have lots of one pot meals. Do you have pinterest? If so find me. I have tried all of my food ones and they are all pretty good. For no touch chicken put chicken, salsa, taco mix in. Cook. Come home and shred for tacos. Mini french dips. BBQ nachos (remade BBQ pork). Here is the link to the one pot meals. Dump and wait. www.cleanandscentsible.com/2014/05/one-pot-meals.html

I bake chicken and just season it with lowrys seasoning salt. Most of the time I don't even thaw it ahead of time. Just season each side and wrap in foil, bake for about an hour.

This week we're basically having all chicken because it's the only meat I can stomach, and I hate crock pot meals. So I found some that are quick and seem pretty easy, and this is what we're planning on this week:
I put chicken breasts in a 9x13 dish and pour a bag of frozen veggies over them then drizzle Italian dressing or Teriyaki sauce over the whole thing, bake for 40 minutes and make some rice. Easy and good! When my husband does it he also will sprinkle either some shredded cheese over it or fried onions over it too.
