DD was on Up&Up Soy from 7-12 months and she did fine with it. Originally we had been using the Enfamil Soy but her pedi said that if DD tolerated the Target brand to use that since it was about $10 cheaper per can.
Basically this from 9-14 months. With the red card I would get it shipped for way cheaper then anything around here.
Are you EP? Why do you think your boobs are losing stream? (Not a breast feeding pusher just don't want you to give up if you don't want to and there is no problem. )
Everything I have read is all formula must meet stringent nutritional requirements so no need to buy name brand. Last time I only needed one container a month after six months so I stuck with Similac but if I use more this time I am going to try Target and/or Kirkland.

I'm not exclusively anything, at this point... I nurse, pump, and FF. My output is just terrible. My boobs don't ever feel full anymore, and letdown takes forever. When I pump, I get maybe 2 oz. LO won't even nurse that long anymore because he just doesn't get enough. I always end up having to give him formula.
I am in the same boat, except I was only pumping and FF. My supply is dwindling, so I am moving to FF only. We have been using the Target brand Gentle and it is fine. So much better cost wise, unless coupon/deal like others have said.
There was an article somewhere recently that talked about how you go through the 5 stages of grief when low supply or other issues cause you to step away from BF. (Hugs) if you felt those feelings, it was rough for me to reach acceptance.
We used similar with DD and are using enfamil with G (supplementing). We never had to buy without $5 off checks. And I stocked up when target had the "buy 2 get a $10 g.c." Although, I think it's buy 3 now. You can also use coupons with the checks. They also sometimes do "soend $100 in baby section and get a $20 g.c." I would usually get 8 cans during this. It was about $250 worth of formula, $80 in g.c. (2 $20 and 4 $10), $40 off in checks, and coupons for at least some of the cans. So it came to about $125 for 8 cans (counting th gift cards as money off, which I did because I would use it to buy other things). And then, just to piss everyone off in line behind me. I would do get $100 worth of diapers, use the gift cards I just got, and get another $40 in gift cards (20 for spending 100 and two 10 for getting 4 cases of diapers).
Have everyone you know sign up for checks. My mom and sister registered as new parents and gave me the checks. Usually target doesn't care whose name is on the check.

I used the gentle version of enfamil, similac, and Gerber for DS1, and then the up&up gentle when the manufacturers coupons ran out on the others. Like others said, stock up when Target is running the gift card deals. I think there was usually at least one every month.
The only difference that I noticed between brands was how easy/difficult the powder was to mix! Up&up was the easiest to mix, Gerber was the most difficult. Seems silly, but I got awfully sick of breaking chunks of powder up with a butterknife!
Not silly. Because if you shake too much, it gives bad bubbles that can cause gas.
