I am a longtime regular of the place that shall not be named. I am currently pregnant with my second child (3rd pregnancy- had an early m/c over the summer) and due June 25. We found out last week we are having a boy! I have had some bleeding issues the last few weeks with a major bleed today. Baby looks great but it appears I have placenta previa- again. I had it with my first pregnancy (my daughter is now 4) as well. It's nervewracking beyond belief to experience that much blood during pregnancy but I'm trying to stay positive. Also, "taking it easy" is a lot easier to do when it's your first baby vs your second! Anyway, I wanted to introduce before I just start jumping into posts!

Welcome! We're happy to have you here! And yay for team blue! I'm having a boy and need some company - there are so many June '16 girls already!
Sorry about the placenta previa scare. My cousin had it with her first pregnancy and spent over a month on bed rest in the hospital before delivering by urgent C-section at 32 weeks. I spent a lot of time hanging out with her and trying to entertain her/boost her spirits when she was waiting... She was terrified to have another kid for a long time, and with her second she also had a low placenta and a lot of bleeding early. But it had a happy ending because the placenta moved and she had a nice uncomplicated VBAC. Her kids are 3 and 6 months and are totally awesome. Best wishes to you!
We have very similar stories! 3rd pregnancy, miscarriage over the summer, and lots of bleeding due to placenta previa. I currently have that too, but my doctor said not to worry too much right now as she is "sure that it will move." Who knows, I'm worried, but trying to wait until the anatomy scan to do anything else since that is when we will know more. I am so sorry about the stress that you've had, especially being PGAL! Congrats on being team blue-so exciting, and welcome! We have a pretty amazing group if I do say so myself!
Oh, and I agree, totally impossible to take it easy with another kid to chase after....

An intro, how exciting! Haven't had one for while! Welcome aboard, and congrats on the boy! I am sorry the experience has been nerve-wracking so far. Hopefully that improves for you soon.

I have to tell you, destinationunkwn, every time I see your name my brain bounces to a ridiculous song by Rancid that I remember from high school... "Destination unknown, ruby ruby ruby ruby soho." Weird, but true.

My head plays a snippet from Top Gun. Is it the same song? My brain only knows like 3 seconds of it.
