Does anyone have any egg-free dessert ideas? My friend's son is allergic to eggs. I have a bunch of egg free things for him to eat tomorrow but not dessert. I was thinking of pudding pie but I did that last time he was here.
Some kind of fruit pie Apple crisp No bake cookies Magic bars (check ingredients in graham crackers?)
I'm hanging out (read: hiding) in our basement. I'm supposed to be working on some projects, but I'm actually overwhelmed by the mess. I'm trying to block it out, but it have my work cut out for me if I think we're putting this house up for sale in two months!
H and I have a sitter tonight so we can have our fanceh date night for my birthday. I'm exciting to spend some alone time with my H. He asked me if I wanted to invite anyone else out but I think I'm perfectly content spending the night out with him.
Maybe you'll meet some random at the pool you can invite
Just make the drive and be a creepy on looker I'll update when I can, meeting them at 5
I vote put your phone on the table, and leave the voice recorder on
Some background on what's been happening with NMG these days... aside from silently creeping her way into inhabitanting FILs basement, she has taken DH and i off her shit list and added BIL and SIL to the top of it.
BIL told NMG not to "go junking up FILs house again" (the 3 brothers literally just cleared that place out)
She has had a fever blister, the flu, and self diagnosed herself with a stomach ulcer. She will be going to the dr in the next 2 weeks to have it checked out.
It's also not fair that we are all keeping her sweet babies away from her since before christmas. (We saw her on christmas... but she has cancelled on us 2x because of reasons unknown, or she has claimed sickness)
I'm supposed to be purchasing a table and chairs for T, from NMG for his bday gift. I haven't yet bc NMG doesn't always pay people back... So I will be telling her it's ordered and hoping she pays for it... then I will legit go buy it.
Possibly dumb question about the BRU trade ins: can you bring in things that you didn't buy from them? We have a KeyFit Caddy and a bouncy seat that I've been meaning to put on Craigslist, but have been too lazy....

Finally caught up, bmbrinson09 - I feel your pain! To make matters worse, I have a three-year old, I have done this before, so I really have no excuse!
Popping in quickly between cleaning rooms. I've gotten so much done today its amazing! The dining room of shame is more like the dining room of mild embarrassment now. Plus almost all of the laundry is done and I cleared out everyone's closets. I'm on a roll.
bookshelves, I'm so sorry you're sick and had to cancel the party.
bmbrinson09, we really struggled with the car seat decision this time around (and this is our third kid). There are just so many options! DH is at BRU right now buying a Chicco NextFit. Woo!

I think so. How will they know? You don't have to bring a receipt!

This thing eats my post some times. jammersc we like the next fit too, but dh like the recaro performance. I want one that is washable.the 50 year old man selling them "is a big fan of spot cleaning"....umm when is the last time you had a kid in a car seat? and if she throws up in it are you going to spot clean it?

Thanks! After I posted, I figured I should just go read the FAQs on their website. I think I will see if DH is interested in swapping our stuff so we can get a second convertible car seat for his truck.
bmbrinson09, haha. Spot cleaning my ass! This was the tipping point on the NextFit for me. We're getting the Zip because easy to remove and wash. (And obviously we chose it for safety reasons too. I just mean all other things equal, the ease of cleaning was what sold it)
I'm wearing a new pair of pants from Gap and the fzipper and button are on the opposite side as every other pair of pants I own. It's awkward as hell to take them off and on. WTF Gap?!

So I randomly tried LO's sippy cup and you have to suck super hard to get anything out. (Is there a TWSS joke there?) Are they all like that? This is the Nuk brand. No wonder he doesn't really take to it!

We have munchkin one like that. We didn't try it with him for months because we figured if we could hardly drink out of it, how could LO. Now, though, its his favorite cup. He doesn't seem to have trouble with it once he figured it out. Maybe don't write it off yet.
