While pregnant, it's ok to not want people to rub your belly. And it's ok to tell them so.
Don't get overwhelmed with your baby registry. All baby needs to come home is a car seat, something to sleep on, some diapers, wipes, onesies and sleepers. Everything else is extra. If you love researching everything and spending hours finding the perfect everything- awesome! If that doesn't appeal to you, ask some friends or your BMB or a seasoned BMB for a recommendation and just go with it. There will ALWAYS be something newer and shinier anyways.
Someone already said it but this will be a looooooong year since you will be pregnant for almost all of it. Try and stay busy and find some non baby related things to do to distract you.
It's ok to hate being pregnant, and to complain about being pregnant, no matter how long you tried to get knocked up or no matter how you got knocked up. This shit is hard.
Demand that SO or some one else spend time taking care of you. Especially if you have other kids. It's so easy to get wrapped up in taking care of everyone else and forgetting that you are growing a human. You deserved to be pampered.
Never feel guilty for indulging in too much food. If you have an otherwise balanced diet, you and your baby will be fine.
Don't feel guilty about having a glass of wine if you want one occasionally either.
Congrats, ladies. I'm two and through but wish I could go through this ride so many more times. Pregnancy can suck, but it can also be awesome. You'll most likely look back on it as an amazing time, but it's ok if you don't. Feel free to stop by and ask questions!
