I have a gas stove, 1 burner wont light. It sparks and none of the holes are clogged that would block gas flow. Help! I really want to avoid a huge pointless repair bill if possible. Anyone know how to fix it?

Our stove is like that and I just use a lighter to light the burner. We're living in my grandparents old home for free though. If it was my own actual stove I'd probably call someone.
It's our front right, but its the power boil extra large burner that is awesome for boiling large pots of water. I miss it dearly. I'm going to try the lighter when I get home.
Did you try searching on YouTube for a tutorial on how to troubleshoot it? That's my DH's go-to method for home repairs. Most of the time he actually finds something that works.

Also check on fixya dot com, there are usually very helpful and easy to follow instructions for basic fixes on there.
I don't have a gas stove, but I do have gas heat/water heat in my house, and I used it to figure out what our issue was with our pilot light and more recently for our dryer.
Our front left does the same thing, but MH figured out that if we keep holding it it will eventually light. It takes at least twice as long as it should. It sometimes makes me worry about the amount of gas building up, so I let it go and try again after I try to wave away the fumes. This may not help you at all but for some reason it works for us.
My mom's stove was doing the same and had a little clog under the plate. There was a spot the repair man showed her (her oven was out, too) that's in the center under there and just needed to be cleaned out with a toothpick.
