Calliope Lynn born sometime around 4! (I'm bored because my husband ran to eat and I can't go to the NICU for 45 more minutes). Highly recommend c-sections because it was a wonderful experience!
Came to hospital after high blood pressure issues where they decided to monitor baby and saw that her heart was having some "decels" so they were concerned. This morning they sent me to an MFM who did another growth scan and showed she had not grown since the last one so they consulted with my doc. They gave me the option to induce or have a c-section but warned induction was more dangerous for baby and would probably end in a c-section since my cervix was pretty much on lock.
We waited a few hours for my doc to actually get here since he is usually at a different hospital and then we pretty much went right in and got her out! Her cry is the most beautiful thing in the world and she weighed 5 lbs 2 oz(they were estimating 4 lbs 5 ozish) so we were very happy with that!!
Oh and her first apgar was 8 and then 10 and they said they never give out tens, let alone to a baby delivered at 35 weeks!
Now what everyone really wants(including me! Let me at my baby!)
My little bub! She's doing great. Only issue has been her blood sugar so they're trying to figure that out. We tried breastfeeding even though I wanted to exclusively pump and it was a great experience
