Good Morning ladies,
So our first health/fitness check in. I hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected in the first trimester. Some of us are getting to that 6-8 weeks were symptoms start really showing and making or scheduled lives not so scheduled, or should I say not go as planned. So lets hear about your activity this week!
Any activity that gets your heart rate up is a workout so don't be shy!
How many days did you exercise this week?

How many days did you exercise this week? 3 days
What did your exercise consist of? I do 30-45 min workouts at the gym with cardio and some free weights.
Did you try anything new? What? I am doing interval running with random incline. So run for awhile and the speed walk..then repeat for 30 mins.
Are you having any issues getting your exercise in due to symptoms? Its taking its toll..I am fighting not being dizzy at work. Then the gym kind of helps but then I have slow down because I can feel my body just not responding. Its hard..I am used to feeling a certain way after a workout. But keep reminding myself things are different now.
(OPTIONAL: just if you want too) Weight gain? (How much have you gained since getting pregnant) As of right now its a lot of bloating.
GTKY: What is your healthy snack after a good workout? I like..but dont always get like a smoothie. Ugh soo good from tropical smoothie. But sometimes it's a muscle milk.
How many days did you exercise this week? 6 with #7 planned for tomorrow morning
What did your exercise consist of? Ran on Sunday, Jillian Michaels DVDs M-F, boot camp class tomorrow
Did you try anything new? What? Nothing new - I'm very routine-oriented.
Are you having any issues getting your exercise in due to symptoms? I'm just tired, so my workouts have been slightly less intense than usual, and I seem to start sweating earlier.
(OPTIONAL: just if you want too) Weight gain? (How much have you gained since getting pregnant) I haven't stepped on the scale since the day I got my BFP and probably won't until closer to my first appointment. When I was PG with DD, I gained 12 lbs. during 1st tri and started freaking out, but it all evened out - in the end, I gained 30 lbs. total.
GTKY: What is your healthy snack after a good workout? I work out in the morning and usually eat breakfast right afterwards, which is a slice of frittata (eggs, various veggies, and sometimes some cheese) on a whole wheat English muffin.

How many days did you exercise this week? Only 2
What did your exercise consist of? 3/4 mile walks with my dog. Slacking since I usually do at least 1 1/2-2 miles.
Did you try anything new? What? Nothing
Are you having any issues getting your exercise in due to symptoms? Due to symptoms, no. Due to the fact that it's been REALLY cold and my walking partner (my neighbor) has been out of town all week, yes.
(OPTIONAL: just if you want too) Weight gain? (How much have you gained since getting pregnant?) None
GTKY: What is your healthy snack after a good workout? I try not to snack too late at night so I don't often eat too much after my walks. Usually I'll just have a glass of milk. Lately it's been chocolate though since I'm working my way through all the goodies I got for Christmas.
How many days did you exercise this week? 1 day What did your exercise consist of? I went to the gym and walked for 30 mins and then did some arm exercises. Did you try anything new? What? Going to the gym was new I haven't been in months. I normally do Barre classes 4 times a week. Are you having any issues getting your exercise in due to symptoms? Yes. I have had cramps most days so I don't work out when I have those. I have also been so tired and nauseous this week. So this week I have slacked. (OPTIONAL: just if you want too) Weight gain? (How much have you gained since getting pregnant) no weight gain yet and I contribute it to the nausea. GTKY: What is your healthy snack after a good workout? I usually make a smoothie with banana, avocado, and plant protein.
