Still haven't caught that mouse that was in my kitchen awhile ago... This morning it was running around my dining room. DH and I tried unsuccessfully to catch it, which resulted in us wasting time and forgetting to give DS his meds before we left. Oops.
On the upside, I'm enjoying a muffin and some tea before my class arrives!

We had a dusting of snow. So of course it doubled my drive time this morning. If it's slightly slick slamming on your brakes on the interstate probably isn't going to help.

Anyone have any recommendations for maternity lingerie? I want to pick up something sexy for V day to surprise H with, but I don't know where to start. Maybe just regular stuff with an open front?
I know a bunch of y'all have found out the baby's sex already, but for those of us going to find out at the anatomy scan, would you be interested in doing a post where we all post our guess beforehand and then report back if we were right or wrong?
I just ate a cheese sandwich. It's 10:30am. WTF is wrong with me?
housecarder, I have a front clasp negligee that still fits when I'm KU. However, I have not been blessed in the boob department, and that doesn't change with pregnancy. I'm shit at describing this. I'll have to take a picture. Eta: something like this still looks really cute with pregnancy belly, and they're pretty standard in any lingerie place I've been in.

That's kind of what I was thinking, although I will have to find something with ample room in the bust. I think I've doubled already.

That sounds fun we could always post predictions based on those silly wives tails for fun

Whoa, TheTuna15, that is a very wide spectrum of potential snowfall.
We got about an inch of snow last night.
Hoping my pup is feeling better today. He barfed on Monday night and then had diarrhea with blood in it all day yesterday. He went to the vet and they dx'd him with gastroenteritis, gave him anti-nausea meds and a bland food prescription. He woke up about 4 times last night to poop and it is so frigid outside with the subzero temps, I hate this for him! He seemed to be a little more perky this morning, though, so hopefully he will have a good day today. Thankfully MH works from home so he can run the dog out as many times as necessary.
I think we are done looking at daycares. We looked at three big centers and one small alternative style place. We really liked the small alternative style place. The touring process was really hard on me though. I currently want to go into a sensor deprivation chamber and never come out. I worry that if I have a kid at all like me, they are never going to adjust to that much noise and stimulation. SIGH.

We had freezing rain this morning so I am working from home today. There was no way I was driving with all of the crazy drivers out there. On an average day it takes me 45 minutes to get to work I cant imagine what it would be like with the roads icy.
We had maybe 1-2 inches of snow last night but it was slick as hell out this morning! I was hoping that the storm would move and we would get dumped on, obviously that didn't happen!
mugster, I'm glad that you found one that you like! I'm sure that your LO will adjust fine while in daycare. It's hard to think about right now though!
cocobellaf, I found a couple of cute maternity shirts on clearance yesterday at Target. Most of my shirts are still just regular flowy shirts right now, I have a couple of maternity pieces that I do wear though. Maybe try Kohl's? I feel like I can always find good deals there.
I'm running out of clothes to wear. Where are you all getting maternity clothes on the cheap??
The Gap and Motherhood.com have had some good sale lately. I also go to zulily.com daily to see what they got going on....but I have noticed their stuff runs a bit on the smaller side.

I woke up starving at 2 AM and haven't been able to go back to sleep. WTF?! I shoved walnuts and chewy chocolate chip cookies in my mouth and that helped a bit. I never thought trying to gain a pound a week would be so freaking stressful!

It appears that my morning sickness is trying to make a comeback and it is stronger than it was before... Yay.
At least I didn't puke in the parking lot today... Yesterday when I walked back to my car after work my puke was still there, frozen into the parking lot along with the little bit of water I tried to rinse it off with.
I've been lurking the parenting board because they are entertaining over there and it makes me realize how much I miss Bravo and MTV. I am trying to convince H that I AM without a DAMN DOUBT getting cable back for my maternity leave.... I'm losing so far. I NEED RH of everywhere, Vanderpump Rules and Teen Mom back in my life. I love reality TV damn it!
Here's another one- I just looked up my 16w bump picture from DD and I am already bigger than that, yikes. I must start some type of workout stat. I did find on Pinterest that there are lots of prenatal workouts on YouTube for free! I downloaded it to the PS3 last night, now just to get my ass out of bed early in the mornings to do them. Oh hell.
sarcaztic10 love tit for not puking in the parking lot! And it's kind of funny that your puke is still there... Sorry your morning sickness is getting worse.
In regards to snow: we are right at the cusp of might be snow/might be rain. I kind of want some snow but actually have a lot of stuff to do this weekend with putting our house on the market a week from today so it's probably better that we don't get snow.
In regards to maternity clothes: some motherhood outlets have a "seconds" rack where the clothes have very minor flaws and are super cheap, if you're near an outlet center it's worth checking out. Other then that last pregnancy I had mostly winter clothes and needed a few summer things and found decent quality stuff at old navy and kohls.

Goodwill of all places. I'm lucky to live very close to a wealthy area and the local Goodwill has a large maternity rack full of Gap, Old Navy, Liz Lange, and Motherhood in good shape.
I also ordered some maternity basic tanks, tees, jeans, and clearance dresses from Old Navy really cheap.
Wrap dresses and empire waist dresses, tunics, men's undershirts, maxi skirts, jeggings, and yoga pants that aren't maternity clothes are working great and last time some lasted all 9 months.

I was addicted to Teen Mom but I am so far behind now. I usually just would watch it on the website since we don't have cable. I agree the parenting board is entertaining, I've been lurking over there too.
