Good morning, all!
So how did you do with your goals this week? I did mostly okay. We didn't really do anything football related but I DID get a starbucks drink when I was running early morning errands on Sunday. I had gotten (starbucks, obviously), gas at Costco, groceries, and was home by 8:30. I love going early. I get to go by myself and all of those places are empty. I'd had a soda earlier in the week also. I officially failed my goals because I had an Izze soda with dinner (even though I really wanted booze). I did, however, do really well on the exercise front. Maybe yesterday hasn't caught up with me yet, but I still logged a one pound loss this week.
What are your goals for this week? the same.
QOTW: What is your favorite sport & team? Whatever dinky teams BBQ ends up on
ETA: I just found a zumba class that is open to the public for $5 with no contract. I'm going to try to make it once next week if I can coordinate childcare. I hope we don't have to jump. I tried to do a jumping jack a few weeks ago and my boobs hurt.
Here are our goals from last week: docamy - Continue to eat better and go to Zumba, try to do some exercise at home too
So how did you do with your goals this week? I did ok but missed the second Zumba class due to work. I walked a few times but didn't do any other exercises.
What are your goals for this week? Same.
QOTW: What is your favorite sport & team? I don't watch much sports but I would have to say softball. Favorite team is my Alma Mater: Auburn University
docamy how do you feel after zumba? I'm usually so sore the day after (i.e. today because I did a class yesterday). I'm hoping if I continue to do it regularly instead of just here and there, I'll start to just get used to it!
I feel great! Sometimes my legs are a little sore but not too badly. I haven't gone much and wonder if I just don't know exactly what I'm doing to get the most out of it since I'm not that sore. To me you being sore shows you are doing things right!! Congrats!! I think your right if you do it regularly you will get used to it and also get addicted!! I love it!
So how did you do with your goals this week? I didn't do great this week. I only cooked a healthy dinner 3 days. My parents bought or made us not great food 4 times this week. I also bought brownies for last night and we still have 5 or 6 of them... Hard to resist. I also did not go to yoga mostly because when I saw the price of ONE class, I decided to stick with Zumba and walking this week.
But, I did manage to make myself healthy breakfasts and lunches. I actually love my breakfast now that I started having a cup of oatmeal. I have never been a huge fan of oatmeal, but for whatever reason I am loving it now. I also did go to Zumba on Saturday and take walks. I have tried talking to DH more and most of the time it's helpful. Sometimes he's cranky from also being exhausted and it's not as helpful.
What are your goals for this week? Stick to cooking at home for most dinners. If my parents offer to bring us something, make sure it's something healthy. Add another day of Zumba. Continue doing the things that have been easier (the walking and eating well when I'm home during the week). Keep trying to talk to DH openly more.
QOTW: What is your favorite sport & team? I am not a big team sport fan. DH likes soccer and football and I cheer for the teams he likes (US Men's team, LA Galaxy, and Nebraska Huskers). Personally, I like eventing (horseback riding) and do not have a favorite rider.

So how did you do with your goals this week? I stayed on track with my goals for the most part. I think I only exercised 3 days total, but I did log my food on MFP. Last night I was really bad though with food and beer. Back on track today.
What are your goals for this week? Continue to log food into MFP, exercise 3-4 times (I bought two new videos).
QOTW: What is your favorite sport & team? Football is my favorite....around here for college we typically follow UGA and GA Tech, and for pro the Falcons.
I have nothing to brag about his week. I have felt like such a bloatie queen, and really have fallen off the wagon recently. I only did one 45 minute workout, and one power walk to the store with the stroller. I am not eating too much, just crappy choices by my standards. I'm usually a very clean eater, and my hormones are all over the place with cravings and minimal motivation.
My cycles are 38-58 days, and I have been crampy and sluggish. I am seeing my OB on the 20th, so I will discuss it with her. I went from 10 years on BCP to fertility treatments and pregnancy, so I have forgotten how PMS feels. I think a little anxiety about going through another FET is brewing.
This week's goal is the same as last week. Get focused for my FET. Cut out the red wine, cut back the coffee, and cut out all processed foods. I just feel so much better when I do. Also, get back to my workouts.
QOTW: I married into a crazy Steeler family, so when in PA, the games are fun. We usually get all the games with the NFL package here in TX, so we often have people over. I have watched the Cowboys for many years, so I catch those games as well.
I would like to jump in on this. DS is 5 months old so I figure it's time to get healthier. I am already at my pre pregnancy weight but would like to lose a little more.
What are your goals for this week? Make healthier food choices. I have no time to exercise so eating right is where I need to start. Also I want to start taking stairs more at work. I work on the 8th floor so I figure taking the stairs will help on the not exercising somewhat. I also need help with calorie counting since I'm breastfeeding. If any ladies have any suggestions on that I would be appreciative. I'm afraid my supply will dip.
QOTW: my favorite sport is football! And my favorite team are the Jacksonville Jaguars. I have to root for them since that's where I'm from

DoesItComeInPink? I am using Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and Trouble Zones, and I just got the Tracy Anderson Toning/Sculpting and Method (for beginners). I used Tracy's pregnancy dvd set and liked it so I am giving her regular stuff a try!
Can I play? I'm trying to be better about having a healthy lifestyle, but motivation comes in fits and spurts. This seems like some good accountability.
So how did you do with your goals this week? I'm signed up for a 10K in May, but I'm only on Week 3 of the C25K program. I stalled out because I've had a lot of knee pain over the past week, and I read that I'm supposed to use the elliptical until it heals. True or false? This is my first time running, so I'm fairly clueless. Anyway, I haven't been to the gym since last Wednesday. Not good.
What are your goals for this week? Complete at least 3 days of the C25K on the elliptical and do at least 2 ab workouts.
QOTW: What is your favorite sport & team? I'm pretty apathetic when it comes to sports, but I like going to baseball games, so let's go with that! When we lived in AZ DH and I went to at least one or two Indians spring training games, so I'm a semi-fan, but I don't follow their progress or watch anything at home.

Sorry I am so late to the party. It's been a really rough week for many reasons. J's been sleeping horribly, she popped 2 more teeth this week, she fell at DC and busted her lip, work is getting crazy (freakin' tax season), one of my BFFs just had a baby and is clinging to me for help, and it's my birthday on Saturday which doesn't fit into this whole 'healthy' week goal. Did I mention I also have a sinus infection and spent my 'recovery time' at work on the computer doing taxes? So fun!
So how did you do with your goals this week? Psh. I tracked points 3 days this week, which is an improvement, but not what I was hoping for. I did pretty well with my FitBit steps though, so that's something.
What are your goals for this week? Oh, you know, track points. Maybe the more I say it the more I'll actually do it.
QOTW: What is your favorite sport & team? My favorite sport is volleyball. I started playing in 4th grade, did club and travel teams through middle and high school, and played as a walk-on in college. I wish I could find an adult league, but most are for beach vball and I love indoor. I also love baseball and football, and like @boxerific and chknma, I'm a Baltimore girl so I'm all Orioles and Ravens!
