So its Monday? I guess were all still getting to know each other, so let's talk about what our typical weekday looks like. Do you work? Got to school? Stay home?
I work 2 jobs, one is second shift the other is third. So I'm home with DD until 245 on Mondays and leave for work at 4 on Sunday and Tuesday.I get out at 11 these nights. I'm lucky enough those are the only days I work second. I work most Sunday midnight to 4am Wednesday and Thursdays 10 pm to 2 am. Those shifts can very by night. It depends as that job is retail. DD doesn't go to day care but next year that will potentially change her birthday is after all the cutoffs for preschools but I'd like to get her into something more structured.
I am currently a SAHM. I quit working full time when DD was about 5 months old and haven't needed to work since. After we move, I'll have to go back to work so right now I try to enjoy every minute I can with DD.
My days are pretty boring. I wake up as DH leaves for work, play with Little Miss, then do some chores when DD's sleeping. I normally take DD for a walk in the afternoon. We don't really know anyone in this town and there's not much to do.
I'm lucky to live across the street from a friend who has 3 kiddos. But super jealous of your sahm status. I was on vacation from both jobs 2 weeks ago and loved every minute if it. But I believe the charm would wear off after a bit.
While DD was a baby, I was going to college full time and working part time. Sometimes I was able to schedule my classes so that she would only have to be in daycare a few days a week. Other times, I barely saw her more than an hour or two a day. I worked from 6am-3pm after college at a camp for kids, so I was able to pick her up relatively early from daycare each day. I'm fortunate enough now to be able to stay home with DS while DD is in kindergarten. I love being able to experience every one of his milestones. I also work Thursday evenings and every other weekend at an art museum, which I also love. We usually start the day by dropping DD off at school around 7:15am. DS naps when we get home and I get ready for the day. Depending on the day, we go to baby sign at the library, the grocery store, a play date, or errands. I usually try to clean throughout the week, but I don't have a set schedule or anything. DD gets out of school at 2:45 and DH usually gets home around 3:30. Then homework, dinner, maybe ballet depending on the day, tv time, bathing, and bed.
