OMG! People are IDIOTS! I love that some of those are amino acids (valine, proline, lysine, alanine etc.) Those are naturally found in your body in cells. Without them you would not be able to function and live.

Reading though I hate when people use this as their rebuttal:
“We should be getting measles, mumps, rubella, chicken pox, these are the rights of our children to get it,” he told the Arizona Republic.

The RIGHTS of our children?  My child has a RIGHT to get a deadly disease (or multiple) that are for the almost completely preventable?  Why in this ever loving world would I WANT or allow my child to get these diseases that we can prevent with modern medicine?

My child also has the right to not eat broccoli, but I feed it to her anyway... because it's good for her! And I'll continue to do so while she can't make decisions for herself.

Exactly. This is the mentality I don't get. Modern medicine is here to help us and to keep our kids healthy. Why would you ever refuse it? I also find that these people are serious hypocrites. We also did not have indoor plumbing, electricity, and automobiles over 100 years ago. Yet I still see them using and enjoying these modern inventions.

Yup, and cars give of noxious fumes that are bad for you to breathe in, yet they drive said cars all over.... and use oil which has chemicals in them.

And they use the plumbing (water is treated with chemicals)... But noooooo, don't prevent diseases with chemicals - scary bad chemicals! 

Damnit people medication is chemicals... do these idiots not use (or prescribe) Tylenol, advil, Sudafed, cough syrup... all have chemicals in them, and *GASP* preservatives too!

I missed the article before. I have to wonder what he does when he gets sick? Will he die of a bacterial infection because he doesn't want to put chemicals in his body? What does he treat his patients with? If he is a cardiologist some of the most toxic medications are for cardiac patients. I would have to assume he is just in this for his 15 minutes of fame his arguments make absolutely no sense at all.

Is a major component in acid rain.
Can cause severe burns in its gaseous state.
Accidental inhalation can kill you.
Contributes to erosion.
Decreases the effectiveness of car brakes.
Has been found in tumors of terminal cancer patients.

And I'm still going to give it to my kid.

OMFG, I am so angry about this guy. My favorite part (which wasn't included in this article) is where he said a young girl with leukemia likely got it because she was vaccinated. Seriously dude, shut the fuck up. I can't even with people like this. He needs to lose his license.

I'm so glad this article stated that there is an Arizona doctor who is planning to report him to the state boards... I hope some of these "claims" and things can be used against him.  I just can't fathom a doctor out there spouting this nonsense.

This made me think of a guy at my work. He wears the tin foil hat pretty tight. I got a big lecture when I asked him (and every other person) if they were getting the flu shot provided by the company.  My response was, "Well 100% of people who drink water, die. So, science."

I have to LOL at his college. I have met so many strange people from that school. I'm sure there are lots of normal people too but I feel like they produce a lot of odd birds. Midwestern was my top choice for school but I was put on the wait list and decided to go to drake instead. This makes me so happy not to be associated with them.

If you don't know what I'm talking about; there's a scene (in the first book/movie) where a bunch of people in one community are all given these shots that basically make them controllable - and they go off to kill a whole group of people.
