6 days and counting to our big trip to Hawaii!!!!!!! Today I am focusing on budget and how to try and save money. What are some ways you have found to save money on vacation?

When we went to HI, the resort restaurants were pretty expensive so we only did them for dinner. For most other meals we went to a grocery store when we got there and bought cereal, milk, sandwich fixings, fruit, and crackers.

Agree on breakfast and lunch. It's easy to make sandwiches a couple times while you're there and have cereal a few times too. That would easily save you $100 by just doing that.
We love to get hawaiian sweet bread and eggs to make french toast! Yum!
Same as everyone else said. Always breakfast at the condo, as well as snacks, etc.
When we went to Maui, we bought a big thing of POG and rum, so that when we watched the sunset every night, we could make our own cocktails, instead of going somewhere with $$ ones.

What island(s) are you going to and where are you staying?
