I'm putting myself here even if FF does not concur yet. I never got a smiley (+OPK) this cycle, but I know my surge is short. I was saving sticks and didn't test twice on Friday, which is when I think it would have been positive. I had cramps on Saturday and had a headache. My temps have been higher the last two days. So I'm calling myself 2DPO. Nothing to do now but wait I suppose.
GTKY: Because I'm horrible at making decisions/picking one, I'll share a few. One is all the time we spent at the baseball fields in the summers. My dad ran the youth league in our (small) town. So if we weren't there for a game for either me or my brother, we were there getting the fields ready, setting up the concession stand...things like that. Though I'm not sure just how helpful we kids were! lol Another is the summer evenings playing flashlight tag with all the neighborhood kids. I also really enjoyed a week in the summer visiting my grandparents. We would take in the state fair, get ice cream...just do fun stuff. Last would be our trips at Thanksgiving to visit family. We had dinner at my cousins' house, then spent the long weekend at my grandparents' house. On Friday we would get dressed up and go downtown to the "big" department store and do the fancy Santa visit.
I'm here with you beachdreamer I'm 8 or 10 dpo. I'm trying not to think about the TWW, which of course makes me think about it constantly. I'm not holding my breath though. Gtky: I guess I'm lucky, too, in that I have a lot of good memories. Here's a sort of light one...for some reason I always craved taco salads from Wendy's when I was a kid after a horse show. The closest Wendy's to our house was easily 45 min away. My dad would go get me one almost every show. For some reason I always thought this was the grandest sweet gesture. My dad still is one of, if not the, greatest man I know. (Not to discount mom who would spend all day before the show helping me clean everything and then get up at 5am on Sunday morning to drive wherever so I could show...she's pretty great too.)

I always do ok the first week. By the time I get to 9 or 10 days though I get in this mental battle of "to test or not to test." That almost makes me more crazy than trying not to symptom spot. FX for you!
That is really really sweet about your dad going out of his way to get you the taco salads. I literally said awww out loud.
I'm 9DPO and hoping 1) to stay distracted this week and 2) that unlike last month, my body plays nice (preferably with a BFP come the weekend). Beyond the usual of sore boobs, nothing to report...
QOTW: I love the stories you have. I think one of my favorite memories is of family days at the beach in the "summer". I remember my mom and I would team up against my dad and brother for sandcastle competitions. And we would play in the North Sea until we were almost blue with hypothermia. The best part was then snuggling up in blankets and towels and getting cuddled and rubbed until the circulation came back to our feet! Then of course straight back in the water... happy days
It's annoying to be not sure of O and either be 9 or 11 DPO...it's way more fun to read into things at 11 dpo. (I think it's more likely I'm only 9.) Funny story: I sleep-temped last night. I woke up suddenly and took my temp, the beep woke me again and I went to put in the temp...and then realized it was only 1am...this is stuff I did way back at my third month of trying, you'd think by 18 mo I'd be over that, ha,

So, looks like I'm boarding the crazy train tonight. At 10 DPO I had some cramping at lunch time and now I'm spotting. This is so reminiscent of last month (which clearly didn't work out) but I can't help feeling hopeful...

How are you ladies doing?
FF did confirm on Tuesday what I thought. So today is 5 DPO.....nothing going on here. I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I was at the chiropractor and she asked me where I was in my cycle. I actually had to think about what day I was!! Normally it just rolls right off my tongue.
I'm still here...I decided I'm more likely 11dpo than 13...just bc of my almost positive OPKs and bc one temp there was probably thrown off. I'm pretty sure AF is coming, though my temp spiked back up today (I did have some wine last night though) and it's not totally unheard of for my temp to stay high right until AF is here. My LPs seem to be getting a little longer 12-14 days rather than 10-12 when I started this whole process...if she's not here in the AM, I'll test. We are going away for H's bday this weekend so I want to test to be sure the wine I plan on guzzling is a-ok!

wannabmama, my temps stay up right until AF arrives too. It is such a mind game. Good luck in the morning, and enjoy your weekend away...hopefully it will be water for you.
Bfn today and plummeting temp so AF will be here soon. Not that I should've been surprised, why would it work now? In other annoying news, my RE can't meet us until too late in this cycle to start IVF prep...so we are pushed back another month. Bummed.
