I totally have been saving this all day so I could start the thread tonight, go back to sleep, and wake up to responses. I need reading material ladies!!
So, if you could do two things today completely child free, what would they be??
1) I would play Guild Wars 2 with my husband tonight (we play together but haven't been able to dedicate any time to it with the baby. I miss the game but I also just miss having the us time).
2) I would clean the kitchen. It always seems to fall behind. I'll get a load of dishes done when I can but the fridge needs cleaning out and counters need washed and those things just get worse and worse.
So, would you all hang out with friends, read a book, clean your house, take a shower??
I would get a haircut. My hair is falling out and it's making me sad. Plus, LO likes to grab and pull on my hair. I need one of those short, mom hairstyles.
Then, I would go out to dinner with my husband. I need a meal free without having to bf or worry about dropping food/drinks on her.
1) I would go shopping and try on jeans without having to mess with the stroller or getting it done before hes hungry. 2) I would take a nap. He still omly sleeps about 2-3 hrs between feeds at night. And I will get maybe a 45 minute nap if im lucky. Usually his naps are about 25 minutes long.

1. Go to the store for nursing bras. The nearest Nordstrom is almost an hour away so it's a production to go there. And I desperately need bras for when I go back to work (I've been wearing tanks, not supportive enough).
2. Cuddle in bed with husband. We haven't slept in the same bed at the same time since the baby was born. She'll be 8 weeks on Thursday.
1. Also haircut. I've had "schedule hair appt" on my to-do list for a month now.. All I have to do is call, but it just hasn't happened. 2. Snuggle with DH and sleep all night.

Realistically, I'd deep clean the kitchen and take my time wandering around Target looking at the clearance stuff. I know this because I did both of those things when I started maternity leave before baby arrived. I'd like to sleep in with my husband, have a piping hot cup of coffee, read a newspaper, take a long shower, go out to lunch with h for Mexican and order a margarita, then go for pedicures. If it was summer I'd say go lay on the beach with a book and a cooler with some adult beverages.
I really could use a pedicure but since are supposed to narrow it down to two things... 1. Buy a nursing bra. The tanks I've been using are ok for home but I've had to put on a regular bra to leave the house and it's annoying. And since this is a fantasy it would be a fun color and have matching underwear that I'd actually like wearing too. I hate utilitarian looking bras and with a 36h size it's hard to find something that's sexy or fun. 2. Sleeeeep. Is there any other answer?!

I love this thread! I would go for a nice long run w DH on our favorite trail followed by a giant Chipotle burrito and snuggling on the couch I love burrito fueled snuggly naps
Definitely a hair cut! My hair is so bad. I just put it up every day. Also a massage. I've had one since the girls were born and it was so blissful I fell asleep!

Take a flight by myself back to Philly just to run around like an idiot like when I was younger. Eat all the soft pretzels, water ice, and chicken cheese steaks. I'd ideally like to catch a game but seeing as baseball season hasn't started yet
I kinda just miss taking a plane, train, bus, whatever wherever I wanted whenever I wanted.
2. Go out for a meal with friends and DH but without our children. Having a conversation that I can actually follow because I'm not trying to nurse or having a toddler demand my attention would be glorious!
