Hello everyone!
We have recently begun exploring the options of IVF vs adoption. While exploring H stumbled across an adoption assistance program funded by his employer. It has always been our dream to have both biological and adopted children. However, due to infertility struggles it seems that we may not ever have biological children. But with the assistance program our dream of adopting can come true! We are ready to start looking more closely into adoption. My question is: how exactly do we go about finding an agency? Google searching is overwhelming and we just have no idea where to start. The only thing we are sure of is that we want to go with a domestic infant adoption. We are not limited by the assistance program in any way. How did you find your agency? What made you decide to go with them? We want to start attending some seminars to get prepared.
We are in Ohio if anyone specifically has any awesome agencies to recommend.

No real advice, and I'm new here as well (just showed up a few days ago), but I wanted to say if you have any questions about IVF, I can help there!
As for adoption, I was lucky in that a few of my friends have gone the adoption route, so I started with them to see what agencies they used. Then, I just googled, and started calling/reading. We still haven't found an agency (haven't been looking that long), but good luck!!!

Hi There. Sorry no advice to offer here as we adopted through our local CAS. We ended up being matched with a beautiful baby boy who was born last August! But seeing past responses around here most people will suggest to start attending information sessions at different agencies. See if you can speak with other people who have adopted and what their experiences were/are. I think you will know what agency is right for you when you find it!
