flmama622 I'm close to wearing flip flops. It's 45 when i wake but 70 by noonish here. However i can't paint my toes and i refuse to wear flip flops without painted toes.
Ughhhh ceo just sent a webinar invite for tomorrow for 2 hours. I hate these. My boss really needs to stop being sick so he can give me my raise already. He just needs to sign the paperwork. And less than 24 hours notice really? Annoying.
2nd annoyance- i had to audit someone's billing and it was way fucking off. Now i have a passive aggressive response from her waiting to be opened. Must have coffee first. I'm just doing my fucking job if you can't take feedback then that's your problem.

I also haven't gotten my registry completion coupon and I set the event date for 2/27 hoping I'd have it sooner- cmon target!
mommyofkaylin I feel you on the indoor smoking. My grandmother is NOT a smoker, but a few of my uncles & cousins are and in the winter they smoke in her mudroom. My grandfather died about 8 years ago from lung cancer and it really bothers me when I visit during that time of year with DD. Eeven though I'm a former smoker, I hate the indoor smell of smoke. Yuck.
My H is looking so forward to our anniversary bc that's the next time we will probably attempt to have sex- it's been pretty infrequent here too, and I'm sure it's frustrating for him. Only another 2 weeks!
Shitty day today... Up from 1:30-5:30 with a sick husband in the ER (all is well). Then I go to my appointment & this baby has turned breech!! He's been head down since 25 weeks.this explains why my pelvic pain is so much better -- but... fuckkkkkk.
I have hb running around doing errands today. I got a book in the mail from target for a $20 gift card with a new registry. I created one last week because they had the swing on sale and we weren't sure if a friend was going to get it or not. He is going to try and get the gift card and the welcome kit.
He felt bad our neighbors asked if he could watch their kids Thursday but he declined in case he has an interview. He is supposed to have a follow up interview later in the week from yesterday. They call the day of to schedule it.
I just got one of those coupons too. I plan to make up a fake registry to go get my free gift card!

Baby J is breech too. She's a fucking acrobat. Not the news you want to hear. What did your doctor say?
My cousin had her first baby yesterday and she had posted on social media that she was being induced so we knew the baby was coming (she lives in a different state). I was checking all day to see her announcement that he was born and when I woke up this morning, our aunt had announced it on FB including his name and everything. My cousin has still not announced and nobody in her immediate family has posted anything either. I just keep thinking of how pissed I would be to have my aunt announce the birth of my baby before I got a chance to!
I shaved my legs after who knows how long. It's been really warm and I want to wear shorts but now I need to paint my toe nails. I'm taking DD to the park and taking a quick trip to the market but otherwise plan to take it easy today.

Sorry you had a rough night and not such good news. Remember, baby STILL has time to turn and breech by labor is very rare. Say mantras to babe and try spinning babies. You might even look into a chiro.

Me too!! [/quote] Mine there is pretty much a fake one. When I saw someone posted about taking a print out of the registry to customer service I added a few things to it so it looked like a registry more. My husband said it didn't take long to get but they were out of the gifts to check next week.
I completely gave up on wearing real shoes today. My feet are so swollen I found some slippers from Wally World and I wearing them now. I don't even care.

Thanks. I'm definitely heading to SB site the second I get home & going to listen to the breech turn tracks from GentleBirth. Just made a chiro appt. The midwife said not to freak out -- baby likely *just* turned & so can turn again. I'm hoping the SPD returns with a vengeance so I know he's back in position. Gotta stay positive...

There is still time for baby to flip! My little anecdote on this - my SIL's baby was breech her whole pregnancy. At 38 weeks they did a version and successfully turned the baby. A few days later baby turned breech again. Around 39.5 weeks baby turned head down on her own and stayed that way.
I'll have to catch up later. DS woke up before the 6:00 am alarm this morning and I haven't had any coffee yet.
We stayed up late doing our taxes. We'll owe over 2k this year We talked again about changing our withholdings but finally agreed we prefer to have the money up front to invest/whatnot and owe later.
I think we're going to set up an FSA for childcare expenses because we spent over $10k on daycare and only get to claim a $600 credit. Does anyone do this? Is it possible to write checks from an FSA?

THIS!!!
This is my biggest fear. My MIL is a social media whore and I cannot control her. Despite the fact that we repeatedly told her it was not FB news she "couldn't wait any longer" and announced we were expecting (of course this happened approximately 12 hours before I was planning on announcing so I was extra pissed). I called her and she took it down after it only was up for like 45 minutes but our friends saw it and felt slighted that we hadn't told them ourselves.
We had a family meeting over the holidays and informed them there would be NO POSTING OF ANYTHING BABY RELATED by anyone except the two of us. Once it is there, they are more than welcome to share it to their feed but this is my biggest worry.
I swear, if she slips once I'm demanding she give me her FB password so I can go in and delete things I do not find appropriate. I get the whole excited grandma thing but seriously, not your kid!
So, for any of you who aren't being tested for GBS because your doctor is being ridiculous and assuming outside of medical fact that you always will be what you were last time, GET TESTED. Cause guess what?? THIS girl ::points thumb at self:: Is GBS NEGATIVE, bishes!!!! I know this doesn't likely seem like a big deal to you all, but it is the FIRST step in not having this l&d go like my last one. Being GBS+ last time meant I was on the clock after my waters spontaneously broke. It was the first step towards unnecessary and unwanted intervention. This is so fucking exciting to me its ridiculous.
I don't recall who said they weren't being tested again. jcar? Just saying gals, don't let it go that way. If your waters break, it could mean a very different outcome for you and baby depending on your GBS test. Demand it be done!
Great news! Yes, yes... thank you for the reminder. My doula just noted to up my probiotics now to avoid a positive test.
pearsforpoops I get suspicious of meeting invites like that. I always feel like they're just trying to A) Set me up for something, or B) Surprise me with something I probably don't want. Hope it isn't either of those and it turns out to be a good thing.
mommyofkaylin Too bad if it's an inconvenience to them, it sounds like WAY MORE of an inconvenience to you. Pregnant lady always wins.
frecklesinside YAY, I'm so excited for you!!! I know you didn't have the greatest of times with E so this is all sorts of amazing if it means an easier time with Pip!
mango Glad ER visit was nothing serious for husband but bleh, sorry baby is being uncooperative but as everyone else has said, there's still time. No need to freak out.
Also, I just want to bitch about how hard it is to be this pregnant. I felt the same way the first time, but I had convinced myself when we decided to have another baby that maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. Dumb.
Don't get me wrong, I am happy for this baby to cook as long as he wants to, but I just need to complain. My back hurts, my hips hurt, I can't sleep, I have terrible heartburn even when I have eaten nothing, I'm moody, my vagina hurts, I pee constantly, I waddle, I contract constantly, I'm not allowed to pick up my daughter, and well, I would like to have a good stiff drink.

I also took probiotics this time. No idea if it made a difference, but it is worth a shot. My midwife just said anything I do beforehand I should do through delivery in case it is keeping my levels where they are. She also suggested garlic insertion...errr...I couldn't stoop to that...but taking a probiotic was NBD and is actually quite good for you!

So I co-sleep and my dd can now feel her baby brother moving when I hold her while we sleep! She says "mama, my baby brother keeps moving and putting his butt on me." Lol! I said "you feel him moving?" She said "yeah, he keeps kicking me bc he wants me to hold him already!"
I can't wait to have my two babies meet each other!!!

::deep exhale::
Gurlll, I'm liking this in commiseration. This pregnancy is killer. I didn't take E to Gymboree class today I think I'm officially at the point where I can't handle something like that alone. I feel sad for E. I know I talk about this like every day on here, but it really drags me down to think of all the fun and activities she'd like to be having/doing. But oy, just getting her food ready brings on ute tightening and breathlessness, let alone chasing her around Gymboree or even getting on the floor to play.

Ha, yeah... I think inserting EPO will be my limit as well (at 37 weeks onward).
I was reading Ina May's 'Guide...' last night for a couple hours and was thinking about you at the VBAC chapter. I am hoping so hard for ya.
