Part of the reason we may be going to Disney is because DH and I were planning on taking a kids-free trip to London this summer and MIL visibly balked when we mentioned it (because they'd have to split the kid-watching with my parents while we're gone...) It doesn't make sense because she normally is very agreeable to watching them. Soooo, we're doing Disney and she's not invited (remember how we took her to Michigan last summer? Ugh.) I can't wait for her reaction when we tell her where we're going now. I'm evil.

I'm letting C be crazy because I need her to stay up another 1.5hr. Usually nap time is now. But we are traveling to my parent's and I want her to sleep in the car.
I'm keeping my job as a travel agent just long enough to get another Disney trip in hopefully next spring. Then I am quitting and can't wait.
Is this a work from home job?
Yes, but it comes with tons of mommy guilt for not being with DS enough. I'm afraid if I do this too long he will think mommy was home with me when I was little, but she worked the whole time. That's what will make quitting hard though, it's a sweet gig but clients don't care if you are doing something with your kid and want to to respond immediately. I've had a client email this morning 3 times because I haven't gotten back to her since we had a dr appt this morning.
Shibes.. Why do you need so many carriers? Not judging just generally curious!
We have two buckle Tulas- one adjusted for me and one that is adjusted for my husband. It's nice not having to move straps. Plus more patterns is fun :-)
We also have ring slings- one in a toddler twill (thicker double weave) and one Tula. These are nice for quick ups and downs and what I will use with future squishes until they are big enough to Tula without an insert. Got them now to break them in.
And this will be my first wrap since I sold my boba when we thought we were one and done. Same premise as the RS- needs to be broken in so it's nice and soft. I'll probably use it to take the pups out with M one it gets here or wrap around the house if she's feeling cuddly.
It'll get worse I think hahaha when we have a 2nd because I'd love to add a buckle standard sized Tula and maybe a wrap converted Mei Tai.
I'm just going to start collecting and hoarding baby wearing things lol.
Is there a reason you need the wrap since you have the RS? (Not that you need a reason to buy one, just seems like similar reasons to have both).

I love that you explained the uses for all the wraps, but not WHY you need so many!
Its cause they are addicting and awesome, i know. If i wasnt on a strict budget i'd get more.
Lol. Sometimes I really start feeling old or out of touch with the times because I scroll through facebook or read the award show round-up on the beauty blog I follow and I don't know who half the people/references are.

@iheartmyshiba they definitely are pretty. I really like the one you got today. To me, having all the carriers is no different than having all the shoes or all the bags imo, just wondered if there was inherently anything different between RS and wrap (I've only ever done wrap, so not familiar with RS carry options).

I love Fridays because I get to come home, get DD and know I get to spend all weekend with her. But then once we get over the initial "we're home" greeting, I just want it to be bedtime. I want to relax for a few hours and it's the only night I don't feel guilty having "me" time because I know I get two whole days with her next. She's playing with who knows what in her room, happily, and I'm on here.

Add me to the list of people who want allll the carriers!!
Currently I have a Solly Baby wrap, Sakura Bloom RS and a Tula. I've wanted to buy more but have convinced myself that I have one of each of the important ones, (wrap, RS, SSC) and I do not need multiples for any reason regardless of how pretty they are.

I've been thinking about sacrificing the shape sorter bucket that I talked about in the Potty Training thread to the actual potty training cause. She seems to really want to poop in it.
