Rants/Raves? Long story short, we're in the middle of moving and when I went to get my records to transfer, I noticed a note about the Rhogam shot (which I need). My Dr didn't tell me anything about it and if I hadn't happened upon it, I wouldn't have gotten it. She should have had me schedule it at my last appt, but didn't mention it at all. I'm so glad I'm changing Drs.
GTKY- What is your favorite thing about being a mom? I love the hugs n kisses and knowing he'll always be my baby. :-)
How are you feeling? Pretty good this week. My glucose levels have been great with diet alone, so I'm optimistic that I'll be able to avoid meds for the GD.
Dr appts/updates? This Friday I'll be there half the damn day-I have a prenatal to review my sugars, a fetal growth scan, and an appt with a nutritionist.
Rants/Raves? None really. I'm coming to terms with the loss of all things sugary and snapping out of my pity party, because obviously things could be worse!
GTKY- What is your favorite thing about being a mom? Seeing the world through her eyes every day. I love that she isn't jaded, and it gives me a whole new appreciation for everything.
I was just thinking about you and wondering how the GD management was going for you.

How Far along? 26 weeks 2 days
Due Date? May 10th (c/s April 30th)
How are you feeling? pretty good
Dr appts/updates? I had my check up today and I start my going every 2 weeks now...YAY! Also to my glucose test today.
Rants/Raves? I have to start keeping track of how many BH I have. If I start having to many then I have to call her and she will check to see if I'm going to end up in preterm labor. I really think she thinks I will. Hopefully Brady will stay till 37 weeks!
GTKY- What is your favorite thing about being a mom? Snuggles! I love taking a nap with them in my arms.
How are you feeling? I'm feeling awesome now that my cold is finally settling down. It really kicked the crap out of me and not being able to take anything didn't help things at all.
Dr appts/updates? Nothing new since last week. Next appt is at the end of the month.
Rants/Raves? I hate that my belly is now getting big enough that I can't zip up my winter coat comfortably. It can still happen, and it doesn't look too bad once I get it, but it's hard to do and really uncomfortable. I didn't want to invest in a maternity winter jacket, I never needed it with M, but I might just have to. I'm loving all the kicks and somersaults I'm starting to feel and see. I started to feel movement a lot earlier this time, but it's finally getting to the point that I can see the kicks on the outside. I think that's the thing I'll miss most about pregnancy.
GTKY- What is your favorite thing about being a mom? watching her discover the world and find her place in it. She is learning new skills and tricks all the time, and she's so sharp! Her newest thing is that she's really discovered how to beg, very sweetly. She clasps her hands in front of her, holds them up and says "Puh-weeze!" With this big, adorable grin across her face. She just knows it's heart melting. It's so hard not to laugh and give in! But she's quick as a whip, and if you say no (I usually do) she knows exactly who to ask next to get what she wants. Over the weekend it wasn't long before she stopped asking me all together and would go straight over to grandpa in the living room and ask him first for the Smarties she knew were hidden in the top cabinet.

How Far along? 20 weeks, 3 days. At least for the head and torso... apparently the arms and legs are measuring a week ahead, so take your pick!
Due Date? June 22nd
How are you feeling? Exhausted... it's tax season, I'm pregnant (and never got the 2nd trimester energy burst), and we have a toddler at home who with the exception of one week, has been sick since before Christmas.. Pity party for one!
Dr appts/updates? Nada mucho! Things are quiet at the moment. Anatomy scan was last week and went well, also confirmed we are having another boy. Things are looking good so far!
Rants/Raves? Hmm... Tax season/exhaustion/sick toddler... Echo, echo, echo! Haha! Honestly I'm just super tired right now... G is sick and was up every hour last night the entire night, until 3:30 when he just decided he was up for the day. He was inconsolable and cried constantly.. took him in today because I swore he had an ear infection based on that and his fever, but everything checked out good. Which is good, but gives us no good reason for getting MAYBE four hours of sleep at most. This mama's tired!
GTKY- What is your favorite thing about being a mom? Oh my gosh a million little things... teaching him things even if it's small... like bust a dance move. Being able to make him smile and laugh... also to know that I can comfort him when something is wrong!
Checking in on you ladies. I miss posting on this thread. I miss being pregnant!
I was just thinking the same exact thing!!! I'm nowhere near ready for another baby but I'd love to be pregnant again...... Runs off to research surrogacy again....

Also checking in, but you will never hear me say that I miss being pregnant. I've had easy pregnancies, but I prefer labor & delivery by far.
How Far along? 13 Weeks - I seriously forgot and had to look it up
Due Date - August 9
How are you feeling? I feel exhausted. I also feel puffy in the stomach area. I am so bloated that my pants do not close. It's very frustrating. I am tempted to switch to maternity pants.
Appointments - Not until the 23rd
GTKY - Favorite thing about being a mom? Lilly amazes me with the things she learns. She is also really funny and always has us cracking up.
How are you feeling? Tired. Also, I pretty much have a headache all day, every day. I'm relating it to my congestion which I've had since Christmas.
Dr appts/updates? Our insurance changed as of Feb 1 since my husband changed jobs in January. But... I now have to drive across the state for my OB appointments. My 12 week appointment is on Monday. I was told on the phone to bring my medical records (which I will pay for and pick up tomorrow). I was also told that all of my tests, like blood work, urine culture and ultrasound, will need repeated. WTF? What's the point of me bringing my medical records if they aren't going to use them. Also, why would I risk having to pay for the repeat lab work. I am going to refuse to have everything done again and hope I don't piss off too many people.
Rants/Raves? Not really pregnancy related... I miss my husband soooo much. G and I are living with my parents while I continue working. I feel like my parents are smothering me. Last night I had a meltdown in my bedroom. I need my husband. He always seems to know when I need some space. My parents are very supportive and helpful but they never stop talking. It's driving me crazy!
GTKY- What is your favorite thing about being a mom? Watching G learn new skills. This week he has learned how to walk down the stairs holding my hand and the handrail.
