MW left this morning for a girl's weekend with her sister and our two year old nieces. Should be filled with princesses and other Disney fun.
I'm trying to figure out some awesome stuff for us (4 and 1) to do over the next few days. Mama returns on Tuesday.
So far: -A few craft projects - DS loves them -The local discovery museum - they were just there yesterday, but the little one's fleece was left so we have to pick it up and DS1 said wants to back -building a fort -Probably "camp out" in the living room in sleeping bags with the bigger one -make the rest of our sugar cookies -random stuff...playdoh is currently the request, building stuff, magna-tiles, etc.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Oh and clean the house top to bottom before DW returns. Lol. That's a must.
Not sure way there is this pressure to do "more" when the spouse is away. Today was a typical Saturday. It was good, didn't do anything crazy but stayed busy, had fun. Why does it feel like it should be more? Like I need to distract or make up for mom not being here?
