Are you currently trying to get knocked up?
You're in the right place!
Welcome!
First off, if you haven't, check out www.fertilityfriend.com
Do yourself a favor and do the tutorials. Even if you aren't going to chart your Basal Body Temperature (BBT), it's an incredibly helpful website. Best of all? It's free. Well, most of it is. If you want some fancy-schmancy tracking extras, then they'll let you upgrade for a minimal time-based fee.
If you prefer an actual book, then check out Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Terri Weschler. Same idea, different format.
- Don't ask us if you're pregnant. Take a test.
- Don't post pictures of your pee stick asking us if it's positive. If you see a line, it's positive. No line, negative. It's a yes or no test.
-
Remember, it can take a healthy couple under the age of 35 up to a year
to conceive. 6 months if you're 35 or older. When you hit those
unfortunate milestones, you and your husband might want to talk about
seeing a Reproductive Endocrinologist (RE).
- Don't take Clomid unless you and your husband have gone through
testing with an RE. Also, don't take Clomid unless that RE is going to
closely monitor your cycle through bloodwork and ultrasounds.
- Feel free to introduce yourself! How long have you been trying? Do you return shopping carts? How do you feel about 1D? Do you imbibe? Do you have any hobbies? Do you wear shoes inside your home? Do you consider leggings as pants?
You're in the right place!
