I was all like, "I'll drop A off and come home and run on the treadmill." Umm, nope, I'm eating cheese and bumping. Wait, is it is still called bumping?!
That’s awesome shellbell Happy birthday to your LO @cara5565! hashtagrainbow Will I see you and L tomorrow still?
I took the day off to prepare for A's party tomorrow. I dropped him off at daycare so I can get shit done and I'm at home for a minute and realized this is the first time I've been alone in my house for an entire year.
stuck in the box. djtippietoes Yes, you will see us tomorrow! Is it at 1? I have major goldfish brain today.

I'm having anxiety about starting the Nuvaring on Sunday. You would think after giving birth and using tampons, I wouldn't be so terrified to insert this thing, but I am. Anybody have any tips, tricks, or words of advice? *WHELP*
This is taking some getting used to. I think it is still bumping....the word's definition is evolving with us
We got the ezpz mats someone posted about. Used it last night. It is a little big for her high chair tray, so doesn't stick great, but she showed no interest in picking it up and dumping it like her bowls. Attempting a photo:
Does anyone know if Karich made it over. I tried to pm her the new address, but there's a mysterious bump error when I try to send it. Shocking I tell you, just shocking.
I am stalking a new baby carrier (wrap). Its like waiting to open a Christmas present, seeing if I can get it or not.
What kind of wrap? I've looked at some but didn't know if it was worth investing in now.
My random: My child slept till 7! I was able to dress and get half way ready without him attached to my leg or me having to hold him! I don't know how to act? Haha
For babies eating mainly or nothing but "table food", what do you mamas take for on the go? It was so easy when all LO would eat was baby food. Now he strictly eats whatever I eat (mainly veggies, fruit and some meats). MH coaches high school baseball so we will be going to the ballgames and I don't know what or how to pack foods for LO to eat while at the games.

katybriggs her post on TB says she'll be over here in a couple days. @penguin173 I missed the post. Did you get your cake there? I'm picking mine up today.
Ooh what wrap?? I don't have any actual wraps but I have a wrap conversion mei tai and a bunch of wrap scrap accessories- all Girasol.
Its an oscha pine braids. Sooooooo pretty! (I am a sucker for Celtic style). What sort of accessories do you have?
Oh I love that one! I hope you get it! I have a girasol RR purpura teething necklace (matches my mei tai) and I have calico sunshine suck pads and hood for my tula. I also have rr rojo scraps waiting to be made into Tula accessories when I have the money. I my rainbows! rondackhiker has a pretty gira wrap too and makes it look so easy, maybe for the next baby I'll try a real wrap.
armfruit you don't look like an idiot. You look like a compassionate person with a big heart. You do need to set some clear boundaries for your own sanity but I think you're fine.
I guess I feel like I've set boundaries and they are ignored. So now I'm ready to be done.
I'm sorry it's working out that way. It sounds like you're doing a great job with those kids and really care about them, it's unfortunate the parents are taking advantage of you, even if it's because of what they have going on.

Oscha Pine Braids. I have one woven wrap, and we use it almost daily. If you think you would use it weekly or if you plan on more children, worth the investment. And, wraps have a pretty good resale value if you find it isn't for you. (Also, you can buy them used at a little better price sometimes.)
LO also likes to play with it when we are not "up".
@cara5565 happy birthday to your LO! Dreaming thank you! The Siggy looked huge last night, but I'm tech challenged and didn't know how to fix it. @joybaby I wouldn't worry too much about what colours L is wearing. I know he has nicer outfits, so I'd just go with one of those. I'm laying in bed bumping by myself. 2 and 3 came and took E in the living room to play (by themselves, I didn't ask) and everyone sounds happy about it, so I'm enjoying my few minutes alone.
Hi ladies. I'm an occasional poster turned lurker hoping to come out of the woodworks. Even though I have mostly been a creepy lurker, you ladies have helped me immensely throughout the past year, making me feel more capable and less crazy. I'm going to try to jump in. I am currently enjoying my third cup of coffee whilst LO tears around the main floor track with his walker. I'm so happy he has figured out how to turn it by himself and no longer gets stuck.
And now I feel weird posting this after shell bells comment.....
I just remembered that I have a wedding to go to in a week...where is a good place to get a very cheap dress that also looks really nice and makes me look 10 lbs thinner?

squirm this is the best time of year to get cheap, seasonally appropriate attire. All retailers have the majority of winter goods on clearance. Most department stores are also running clearance events right now.
Oh, as for being a terrible mother and scheduling other things in LO's birthday: we will probably be having DS2's party on E's birthday (their birthdays are 21, 22) because we pushed E's party into March (because he won't know the difference and mama needs some sanity, which won't happen if I have to host three parties back to back to back.) #moty oh well. It's what's going to work for this year.

My go-to for dresses is usually Loft
And they have a great clearance rack! But their dresses have been fitting me funny since having lo. My proportions are weird. Would soft pants be too casual? The invite did say black tie optional

kookiemonster We have weight issues too, but we always have so for us, it might just be the way he is. But our pedi suggested calorie-dense foods: avocado, banana, whole milk yogurt, etc.
