Dreaming thank you, I will look into a lunchie. I have a couple months before ball games start so I have time to plan.
noethola yes I plan on having more kids so it would get use later on down the road. I would use it a lot at home with LO now. Trying to clean/cook holding LO would be easier with a wrap. Also sometimes he doesn't want to ride in the buggy at stores (sleepy or teething). Can you wear LO on your hip with the wrap or just in front?
bluedot Did you score any Mama Bear stuff today in the sale? I really wanted a hoodie, but they sold out too quickly.
The stuff I want wasn't restocked. I'm crazy but I want a brother bear tee for my next pregnancy announcement. As far as I know I am NOT pregnant now. But i haven't POAS yet... lol
kookiemonster I'm sorry you are having weight gain struggles. The only advice I have is to keep offering a variety of solids. My LO resisted for a long time until one day it just clicked and now he seems to enjoy eating. Some high calorie favorites include avocado, hard boiled eggs, peanut butter and yogurt. I hope your next appointment has better news!
Paging Doctor Bump DD has this red rash I her face. It comes and goes and she doesn't have any other symptoms. I called the nurse line and they told me that they couldn't tell me anything over the phone, thanks for nothing, so what do you think?
Looks like she got into a bar fight while you were sleeping. I vote heat rash. Is it improving at all as the day goes on?

djtippietoes I haven't gotten the cake yet, but after getting a ridiculous quote from a baker for a custom cake, I am definitely going to get it from Publix! Do you know how far in advance I will need to put the order in?
rondackhiker E will have her 12 month shots on her birthday. I really think people just don't know what to say sometimes so nonsense just spews out of their mouths. Take care of you. You're good.
armfruit You are doing an incredible thing helping that family out. And while I can understand she is probably under a lot of stress, it still doesn't excuse the way she is treating you. She is taking advantage of what you are doing for her and she needs to be reminded that her life does not take priority over yours. I'm sorry you keep having to deal with it. Big hugs to you.
greer14 I wear mostly on my back (so I can use my arms freely), but there are also hip and front carries. Wraps are really versatile. There are tons of youtube videos that show different carries. Wrapping Rachel and Wrapping Faith are both good posters with easy to follow tutorials. It takes practice, but so worth it.

rondackhiker thank you for remembering! I really appreciate that and to those that remembered it was me.
I'll try and figure out how to pm on here and send it again.
Oh and good morning, ladies! 8am here and I'm still laying in bed while Lo is waking up. She does this new thing where she's awake for awhile, but still laying down playing with her lovey. She's cranky if I go in before she stands up.

noethola how long have you been wrapping? I got a girasol for Christmas and can get LO in a front wrap with only a little difficulty but I'm really struggling with back carries. I'm not sure if it's the learning curve or if LO is too wiggly and not used to being wrapped so he's resisting it? Tell me I don't have to wait for the next LO to get some use out of it!

@cara5565 Happy Birthday to your little guy!!
@penguin173 I ordered L's birthday cake from Publix last week, and they said they needed the order in by close the night before we needed to pick it up. As long as it says "Happy 1st Birthday," you get a free smash cake!
I just got T's first birthday shirt! He will wear it the day of his birthday, but idk about at his party, I posted it a while back, but it was finally in stock in his size!

Okay I have barely scratched the surface looking at wraps. I just didn't know if it would be something I could use for a while with LO or not. But thanks I will definitely do some more researching.

@penguin173 I didn't ask about time frame, but I put in my order the weekend before. I got sort of a generic sheet cake and it was $22ish for the 1/4 sheet cake size which they said would feed about 20 people.
I read my birth story this morning, which I'm surprised at how well I remembered most of it! But it was sad to read all the comments and see how many people we had lost and I barely remember them...
bluedot I was thinking the exact same thing when I read through mine on TB-so many regs back then that aren't around anymore.

Check out the Babywearing 102 group on Facebook! Depending on if you want to back wear or not, a ring sling might be a good place to start too. Or my personal favorite, the mei tai! I find it super comfy compared to a soft structured carrier like the Ergo, very easy to use, functionally more like a wrap (mine is a wrap conversion one too so it's actually made from a wrap) and you can do front, side, and back carries.
So I'm currently reading that crazy long Bump HQ thread, and on page 4, BumpAdmin states: "We hear you loud and clear regarding BumpMay. We can confirm that BumpMay will no longer be responding or engaging with the community." ... lol

ciaomama Not all the way through yet, and probably late to the game, but that outfit is fine, I think. I wore a similar white & black dress last year for my grandpa's (Catholic) funeral, and was fine.

carissalynp thank you for that information. I have seen several refer to different wraps and carriers, I was just never interested at the time. I have a carrier, LO wouldn't mind being in it on my back, I just feel like He is slipping down my back or even in front. I can keep it in the same spot.

I don't remember who was talking about Giada the other day (and I know the face, but don't usually watch Food Network, so have no opinion on her)... But they didn't understand her saying she can't wear button up shirts because of her boobs. I just wanted to say, that is a legit complaint against button up shirts. I always buy them, thinking maybe this time will be different, but it never is. The shirt will gap open between buttons, basically. I'm not sure if it has to do with body proportions, or what, but I haven't been able to make a button up shirt work for me (without flashing everyone between buttons) since high school.
