Morning. We've been at DH's grandpa's place since Saturday, leaving sometime this morning. I've been up since 4 and C is an over-tired, itchy-skinned beast. It is so hard to keep his diet completely clean here, between the cafeteria and taking grandpa out to eat, so his skin is a mess right now.
Good Morning All! Nothing exciting to report here except I'm glad to be working from home today, I really think my job is causing me such bad anxiety right now, some days I really want to just say screw it and quit for what I'm making!
@giamia923 , Omg seriously? Your office sounds horrible, I also freeze to death all year round!
@lildiamondeyes , sorry you didn't get to see the girls this morning but yay to seeing them at lunch
@adulruna , i know Tuesdays are your sucky day, hope it flies for you. Glad your cramps went away
melw629 , sorry C is having trouble with his skin but hope your having a nice visit
Thanks @adulruna, yes its such a hard decision, I really love the flexibility, they have been really good to me about it and its a state job so I'm so close to being vested since I have been there for so long BUT everything that has gone on in the last few weeks just has me reeling. I guess I should just stick it out and get through this and then see what makes sense but in the meantime I'm just losing my mind, lol

@giamia923 we used to have to hold V down and brush her teeth while she screamed. Eventually she gave up the fight and now it's easy. Maybe you just have to keep up with it till she decides it's not worth the fight.
Anyone have any tips on how to make teeth brushing less traumatizing??? I basically have to restrain G to even slightly brush them. I've tried having her hold the tooth brush and do it herself first but she just sucks the tooth paste off of it. sigh.
N40Mom, we're moving in just under a month. We decided to squeeze in one last visit to Grandpa while we live close enough to drive...it was actually a really good trip, C was just so ready to be done with the food issues and pack n play sleeping by the last day.

Is anyone else dealing with basically a food strike at dinner? The rest of the day goes ok but dinner comes and nope, no food will be going in the mouth.

@kait20122014 I think the not wanting to eat is a tired issue here also. When he has one nap it's so early, I think I need to be better about having dinner ready earlier. His 8:30-9 bedtime is pretty strictly 8:30 as of late. And I know I can't say don't stress about A getting sick all the time, because I would feel the same exact way, but it's not your fault and you are there for her as her mommy. I really they find, well I hope they find nothing and that she gets better! Or hope that's it's something manageable and short lived. T&Ps for her and for you.

I seem to have to opposite issue. . My kid is a bottomless pit from the time he gets home until bedtime it seems. Whether it is food or milk, he is constantly in the kitchen begging for something.
@kait20122014 - I know how stressful it is dealing with a sick kid and it sounds like you have been dealing with the constantly for awhile. It would be draining for anyone to deal with that. You are doing the best you can. Don't blame yourself for anything. I hope that A can stay healthy and that you can get some answers in May.

This is what he usually does, which is why it's so strange that he's on a food strike essentially. Hoping it's just a strange phase and he goes back to his eat everything ways.
@kait20122014, I'm just catching up but wanted to add my T&P's about A and her getting well soon. I'm so sorry you have had to deal with all of that, you are doing an amazing job as a mom and any one of us would be a mess so don't be so hard on yourself. We are here for you anytime you need to talk or vent or just check in and say hi *Hugs*
