Max was up every 1.5-2hours last night and that was only if I held him...every time I tried putting him in the PNP he woke up within five minutes. Im exhausted this morning but at least I'm working from home today so Max is sleeping on me while I slog through the hundreds of emails from maternity leave. I miss maternity leave and sleep, I miss sleep.
My H woke up this morning complaining about how tired he was because I asked him to change a diaper just before six (his alarm went off at 6:10)...I have no sympathy for him today

Ugh my dh does this all the time. He used to take Los motn feeding but it proved too much for him so we traded...now I take that feeding and he does the 5-6am one (he has to get up at 6). If LO wakes on the 5am end he pulls the "omg I'm so tiiiiired" card...once he grumbled so hard about feeding her when she woke up at 4:45 that I just did it so I didn't have to hear him complain!! :-P
LO is doing so much better with sleeping lately. Naps in her crib without much complaint and only waking 1-2x at night! Fx this sticks!
I had to double check that today is Wednesday too, lol. We're supposed to get more snow tonight!
spikesmom, DH mixes the formula when I change Liam's diaper a couple times a week, and he complains of being tired all the time (el oh el) he will truly see what it is like when I go back to work next week and we switch roles on Friday nights.
Liam slept really well last night at my mom's, well, he slept his usual. I was nervous about him being in a different environment, but I think he is used to my mom's house enough that it was easy for him.
We are home now! He's napping, I'm having breakfast and I'll watch the pats parade on tv later.
Good morning! Can't believe it is already Wednesday. This week is flying.
LO has been refusing/spitting out the bottle since Sunday. Since 3 weeks my husband has been giving her one bottle of expressed milk in the evening, and occasionally during the day if my mom is watching her. She's never had an issue before, and now at 10 weeks she's having difficulty. Did anyone else go through this? I'm hoping it is just a phase as I plan to go back to work part time in a few weeks!

DS is being fussy with MIL during the day. She tried saying he is teething and I said nicely that she is crazy. Just because he is chewing his hands and toys does not mean he is teething. He is drooly but not very. So I had this creepy dream that I watched a plane crash from my window at work. It went through a city and crashed in a lake. It was so scary and felt so real. I told my friend and she said that there was a plane crash just like that. I am kind of spooked.

Yes! I just saw the footage on the news, it was awful! That is creepy!
songbirdsinging55 My GIL tried to suggest teething at 3 weeks. Haha. That is scary! Maybe you heard the news in the background yesterday. Idk when the crash was.

M went down just after 10 pm!! I am so happy that he seems to be moving his bedtime up. I didn't sleep that great because my neck hurts and I had nightmares all night, then I woke up an hour before M did for his motn feed and my boob was nearly exploding and hurting. But hey, I'll take what I can get.
I'm actually getting more sleep than H is these days. I sleep in after he goes to work. He knows not to complain about being tired, though. Last night he decided to stay up almost an hour after M went down and play on his computer. So I have zero sympathy if he's short on sleep.
DH stays home the 2 days I work, and the half day I did this past Monday I think he got a wake up call. He is really good with helping when I ask, but I have done all MOTN action since day 1. As in, he sleeps in the guest room. Since his job is non traditional, he gets to watch LO these 2 days a week. Today is the first full day. Should be interesting. ..

I thought that too but we don't have cable. Although I did read about the train crash so maybe it just a similar scenario.

My husband had to deal with the baby for a few hours alone after she got her first shots. She had a low grade fever and wouldn't stay asleep. I got hike and he had been rocking her for ninety minutes. I felt very little sympathy for him, tons for her

Ahhh they don't understand. I think he's finally getting it. And it's easier now than when they were really little! Now work feels like a vacation lol!
I kept thinking yesterday was Wednesday, no idea why! I do believe that A is going through a growth spurt. He isn't fussy but he went from giving me a 4-7 hour stretch at night to 1.5-2 hour stretch. I am lucky that he only wakes to feed and goes back to sleep, but I am up so many times and it feels like by the time I am done nursing and finally fall asleep he is up again to eat! It's a good thing he is so cute
I am also getting tired of all the snow!! I need a mild day with clear sidewalks so A and I can get out for a walk!!!
I hope everyone has a great day and hugs to those that need them!
Our Nannies little girl had to get her 6 month shots today and so they are about two hours late (usually no big deal) well Max has decided to be a little terror today and not nap so mommy is not getting any work done.
I never know what day it is anymore.... I'm also waiting for the day when DH has the baby all day. Last night he was holding her for maybe 20 minutes, and then he handed her to me. He said it was tough to hold her and be on the phone at the same time, and his back was hurting. Isn't that cute.

What's for breakfast/lunch? I'm eating a salad and loving it! I have romaine, spinach, cucumber, radishes, bell pepper, avocado, cheese, tomato, and plenty of caesar dressing on it. This is to make up for the pizza we are having tonight.

Breakfast was steelcut oats with cinnamon, brown sugar, Craisins, chia seeds and flax seed meal. Washed down with a mug of Mother's Milk tea and a side of ibuprofen and fenugreek. Talk about eating for the baby (pumping and wrist tendonitis).
Happy Hump Day ladies! I am probably not going to be on much, the company I work at let my boss go yesterday....so I will be getting a new boss soon. I have no idea what changes will be in my future, but I imagine downtime to play on the internets is going to be sparse.
Its a bittersweet loss, and I am hopeful that more good things will come of this change than bad.
On a happier note, Gio slept through the night for the 3rd time in a row last night. I am starting to think we might have a new norm!! He was terribly fussy and hard to get to sleep last night, but once he did go to sleep, he slept for 8 hours. Thats right....I double checked my math.....8 hours!!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

wildflower810 I had nightmares all night too, though I think its because I had just watched Nightly News (I record it bc I'm still at work and I love Brian Williams) and then I watched half of State of Affairs....so my dreams were pretty intense. I feel like a zombie at work right now.
I LOVE avocado (but I hate quacamole?). I'm thinking about getting some sushi and maybe a salad a little later while I'm still at work. DH is making pork chops tonight, but I work a weird shift so I'm here basically for lunch and dinner.
OMG sushi. I want now. Sometimes I hate living in BFE.
On another note, I live in the town where the trial for the man who murdered Chris Kyle is about to take place. It starts tomorrow, I believe. It's about to get crazy in our small little town.
wildflower810 That salad sounds delightful! I'm having leftover quinoa casserole. Oh my gosh it was so good last night- it even got DH to eat some tomatoes! ashleymm197 I requested sushi this weekend, but lost to pizza!

You guys are making me so hungry. Breakfast will probably be eggs and sweet potatoes. I tweaked my back yesterday and it still hurts. We are also all sick over here. Sucks.

I am feeling so drained. No pun intended as I just pumped at work. So awkward because there was a huge meeting with corporate in the next room and I am sure they heard the pump. Awkward. Also I am so tired that my grammar is so bad. I have to triple check outgoing emails and notes on accounts. More than once I have written to when I meant two. Ugh.
This food talk is hell! I've got a Velcro baby today so I've had cold steel cut oats and a handful of nuts. I'm starving and trapped under a snoozy lady.

I have never tried quinoa before. Is it like a rice or pasta?
