My baby sister turns 22 tomorrow and graduates undergrad in May. She's so unprepared for life and I'm so scared for her to find out the hard way. I wish I lived closer to help guide her a bit.

On the symptoms front: they all showed up at once. Nausea, weird food habits, terrible skin, and ridiculous sense of smell. I'll gladly put up with all of that if my body would comply with giving me some cleavage. Twelve year old me is still waiting for that day.
Random: I am taking a first aid/CPR certification class on Saturday. I have been working on the online at-home portion tonight. One of the girls on my Jan 14 BMB (now FB group) had to give her daughter CPR after a near fatal drowning in November, and it freaked me out.
sophiegrace I'm still waiting for that day, too. I hate to tell you this but mine shrunk after breastfeeding. I didn't even know it was possible for mine to get any smaller...but they did.
Symptoms so far: sore boobs, heightened sense of smell, on-and-off crampiness.
I remember the a.m. nausea really hitting around 6 weeks with my first pregnancy. Luckily it was pretty short-lived and as long as I got something on my stomach first thing, I was usually ok. I'm interested to see how the 2 will compare.
Also, I got my packet of intro paperwork from my OB today in the mail. That made it seem very real I have a consultation/bloodwork appt. next week with a nurse, and then go the following week for my first ultrasound, etc.

My husband's at a meeting and all four kids are in bed, so right now, I'm just sitting here watching The Chase (the 90s movie starring Charlie Sheen) and eating my hidden candy stash. I haven't had any symptoms yet (except tiredness, but I'm not really sure I can blame pregnancy for that one), but I always seem to end up with pretty bad morning sickness, so I'm just biding my time and enjoying not vomiting several times a day.
Awesome news peanutmuse although I can see why you'd be nervous. I've always wondered how I would react to that news...
The first time, we thought that maybe we could just be done with one pregnancy.
Now would be different. I had a very rough pregnancy, even with one. (My son had a vanishing twin.) I was on modified bed rest for my entire third tri and was in the hospital 9 times before he was born. Twice, I was admitted for nearly a week. A twin pregnancy would likely mean that I would have to take a leave of absence from my job for a year. The prospect is a little scary.
But even with all of that, I wouldn't be too terribly upset.

I walked by the admins desk around 11 and she had 2 boxes of donuts out. I didn't want one at the time so kept walking. 2 hours later I really wanted a donut but they are all gone. I'm so disappointed now.

I had something similar happen with girl scout cookies last weekend. I was heading into a restaurant to pick up takeout, and I didn't want to buy the cookies on the way in, but when I finally came out (seriously, it took forever), they were apparently done selling and everything was all packed up. I was so disappointed.

Ugh that's the worst. I guess we should just cave into the goodness right away!
I had crazy dreams this week. This happened with my last pregnancy. I'm praying this pregnancy is entirely different on the nausea front. I was sick all the way up through 24 weeks then switched to heartburn 24/7.
Nothing besides dreams so far.
I have been having crazy dreams lately, as well...really vivid, where I remember every detail. That is not my typical MO. That was kind of the first 'symptom' that made me wonder if I had a BFP in store.
