Me and MH read up on a ton of relaxation tips (Bradley Method, Ina Mae, etc) which were good advice. The best book BY FAR was The Birth Partner by Penny Simkin. A good and inclusive guide to everything you could possibly want to know, no matter what kind of labor you want. We got it specifically for MH but I learned a ton reading it, too. I cannot over-recommend that book.
Hi there! There are only 2 rooms at my hospital that have birthing tubs. It's the luck of the draw if those rooms are available, which made me so mad because there could easily be someone in there that has no intention of using it! I'm hoping it's available this time around, at least for laboring.
