Are we doing symptoms and randoms today? (Wed, 02/04)

Because this bottomless pit ate her lunch at 10am. Whoops.

Baby boy decided to treat me to a dance party at 4am. :: sigh :: I think I actually preferred his sister's 3am dance parties.

Sleep lately goes something like: fall asleep on left side. Roll to right side when left hip starts aching too much. Gather pillows to prop up self and legs when right hip starts aching too much. Go pee in bathroom. Repeat from beginning. (don't forget to allot 30 mins for that 4am dance party!)

Man, that sounds like me. Then when my alarm goes off, I feel like I waking up in a foreign land. I get confused and it takes forever to get out of bed.

My random for the day is that my mom just got back from visiting her family and brought us back t-shirts her sister had printed for us. She made me a size small, regular t-shirt. Then I had to put it on for a photo. I'll let you imagine how comfortable I was with that, especially in front of my sisters' bfs. Squished boobs and a shirt that doesn't fully cover my belly (thank god for camisoles), definitely a good look for me

Work has been stressful this week. I worked until 11pm last night. I woke up at 5am due to the stress so I started work at 6am this morning. I will probably work late the rest of the week and work the weekend. Hopefully I will be able to better sleep tonight.

I also had a cup of coffee today. Then I experienced some cramping. I guess I will continue to avoid coffee.

My little dude is being more active which is wonderful. I love feeling him. No outside movement yet.

I just have to say it. Healthy eating SUCKS. Grilled chicken in whole wheat pitas and grapes are neither as satisfying nor as filling as sweet 'n sour chicken and chips. I'm ALWAYS hungry!!! I ate "chocolate dusted" almonds for my snack last night and all I could think was "GIVE ME ALL THE SNICKERS BARS!!!" However, since my BFF's sister told me last week that my butt is getting a lot bigger, I need to lay off the junk food lol

Sleeping is so uncomfortable, though my Snoogle does help. I think that's the worst part for me right now. I felt baby girl Hayley kicking last night though...it's VERY faint b/c of the anterior placenta but def there. So cute!

DD bit me this morning after our swim lesson. She had been a pain in the ass as I was getting us dressed and had a melt down as I tried to get her coat and boots on. She went complete limp noodle on me, screaming and kicking as I picked her up and walked out of the locker room. I put her on a bench in the lobby area to try again to put on her boots and she clamped down on my arm for like 30sec. I tried not to react at all and when she finally let go I calmly told her not to bite and that she hurt mommy. I also told her mommy is very mad at her. She knows why I'm mad at her and I hope she won't bite again but I'm worried she will. It was so hard not to lose my shit at the pool. I still haven't but as soon as DH gets home, I may peace out for a bit to de stress a bit.

Sounds like you handled it really well.  I have no idea how I would have reacted in that situation.

I'd go with not, personally. She's sweet; she wanted it to "fit after," but can't I just hold it up? No? Good.

Haha I have no control when it comes to junk food! I've been buying the tiny one-portion snack packs but I'm better off going cold turkey! It is my primary vice ;-)

Another random, I snissed for the first time yesterday. I am going to blame it on a very poorly timed sneeze when I was already on my way to the bathroom... it helps me feel better about it. At least I had just gotten home and could easily change.

Also, as a PSA to FTMs: when you buy your postpartum undies, try wearing them with the biggest, thickest freaking pad you can find. I bought my undies last go a size up, but with the monster pads, I actually needed two sizes up. My piddle pads and undie trouble reminded me of that fun.

My random is, I'm glad my chickens have finally slowed down their egg laying for winter. I have a chicken egg aversion. Duck eggs however are super yummy and I can't stop eating them!

This is wise advice!! I also bought a size up as I had to keep something over my c-section incision and it was bulky as well. I just bought a bunch of cheap pairs.

In regards to the snissing - I just cross my legs before I sneeze. Most of the time it helps.

I am also consistently waking up at 3 am for no good reason and then I can't fall back asleep for another 2 hours. The last couple of days it was because I was having terrible nightmares. Last night it was because my big toe was throbbing in pain (but I don't remember hitting my toe on anything). It still hurts right now. So irritating.

This past week has been one of the busiest, craziest weeks ever. It took everything in me to not let it stress me out, and thankfully the fam and I got through it in one piece lol.

We got a new washer/dryer on Monday!!!! We've been using laundry mats and going to my in laws because we're trying to get out of debt and didn't want to put them on credit. We finally saved enough and got a pretty good deal as well, we saved about 400 dollars on a brand new set that holds a king size load, woohoo!!! And noooooo payments!!!!!! Now if we can just get everything else paid off..

Totally not pregnancy related, but I'm throwing a Valentine's Day party for my son and his friends this weekend, so I've been up every night this week cutting out banners and making V-day crafts as samples for what I have planned for the kids. I'm kind of super proud of my stained glass tissue heart, especially since my son woke up the next morning and thought it was so awesome he carried it around the house. (Although he's not a good judge, because he also like the crappy stamps I made with toilet paper rolls)

Also, I have a really intense taste aversion to chicken right now. Even the smell of chicken cooking makes me nauseous. Totally out of nowhere. Will have to experiment with turkey to see if that works, or if I've gone off the bird(s) completely.

My coworker just found out her daughter is expecting, too. She is a cool ass lady, so I'm guessing her daughter got some of the awesomeness. I wrote down the proboards url for her today, so her daughter doesn't end up in SS land at the dump.

I woke up yesterday with what I knew was a bladder infection. I took a couple rounds of AZOs and figured it wasn't a big deal, it would pass. However, I'm not feeling much better today so I went ahead and called my OB's nurse. She told me I needed to come in to give a sample and start antibiotics ASAP, because if left untreated, the infection can cause contractions.

I'm all like whaaa? I had no idea. I'm glad I called.

That sucks! Really hope you feel better soon. I've never had a bladder infection but it sounds freakin awful. Glad you called the office!
