I absolutely love this age that DD1 is at, she's so curious and just full of life! Today we are going to the zoo and I asked her what animal she wants to see and she says lion and does big hand motions while roaring. Then this afternoon my mom and I are going to make wreaths so it's going to be a busy but good day
We have a few errands to do today. Need to take the dog to the vet for shots and go to the post office. I think I might take DD to the park later too. I'll just have to see how our day goes.
We're going to the zoo today too. We had planned to go yesterday, but I felt crummy. I still don't feel great, but today is calling for around 50-degrees while tomorrow is several inches of snow! Needless to say it needs to happen today.
Do ya'll mind if I hop into this forum? The April 15 forum is dead, and it's nice to have other parents to 'talk' to occasionally! We're three weeks away from our new built home being completed, so things are busy and full of little detailed errands. Our backsplash hasn't come yet so we have to deal with a replacement product, I need to get in touch with our insurance agent, I need to order blinds but to do that we need to be able to get into the house when a work crew isn't there to measure the windows, I have to make sure the landscaper is ready to go, and I have to figure out how to pack all our stuff all while taking care of an extremely busy 11 month old! And H can't take any time off work so it's all me until the weekends. Whew! So excited to finally have a home though! We've been living with my in laws for the past three years in a total of two small rooms and a bathroom!
I got mastitis over the weekend and had a high fever. H really stepped up and took care of the baby while I slept or read between feedings. Even though I felt gross it was a nice break. I'm feeling a lot better after starting abx yesterday.
How frustrating forevermorgan. I'm glad my office sends a confirmation text with date and time bc I have the same drive time and I would be ticked.
We had a really busy Monday and Tuesday. Now just waiting for the winter storm and hang out at home. I have paper work, cleaning, laundry, etc to catch up on.
forevermorgan, I once went on the wrong day (my fault) and they just let me see the doctor anyway. On the flip side, I went to the doctor for a sinus infection and told her I was worried about my general health, and they gave me an appt in July... Well, okay, hope I don't have a heart attack before then. Probably won't. July is when I'm healthiest...wonder if I should have had them schedule it next March, when I'm always recovering from a winter of no exercise and terrible foods.
Hi! Thanks for asking. I went out Monday to buy curtains, an area rug, and other odds and ends. We have 2 of the 3 sets of vertical blinds replaced with curtains and have one more set to go. I've been really tired in the afternoons and try to get stuff done in the mornings. We still have a bunch of stuff to move out of our rental.
