Morning! Hope everyone had a good Easter! Ours was very chill since we celebrated on Saturday. I bought the book Love You Forever and tried to read it to N last night...I ugly cried, bawled the entire way through and couldn't finish it. Ugh, hormones. It really is a sweet book though.
designaddiction, I cry reading "On the Night You Were Born". It gets me everytime. I haven't tried reading Love You Forever to him yet, but I'm sure it will be the same response.

We had a great Easter yesterday! It was so fun having an egg hunt for little man. He had way too much candy (thanks grandparents) and was wired.
I'm back to work today. I so wish I could stay home with DS every day.
Since vaca is over, its time to get back to eating well again. Ugh
H and I are taking a mini trip this weekend to go swim with manatees. My bday is on Thursday so we are doing that to celebrate it. A night and day alone for H and I will be nice!

I emailed L's doctor because I'm nervous about her fall last night. Waiting to hear back. I'm a wreck. Day care lady says she's acting fine, and sent me pics and a video, so, hopefully she's okay.

Doc called back. said she's be happy to check L out (I love our doctor), but that it probably isn't necessary.
She told us to look out for the following: -Throwing up -Falling over from apparent dizziness -If it seems like she's having trouble seeing (the bump on her cheek is right under her eye) -Make sure she's "tracking" ... following things with her eyes -

N40Mom, i have no idea what to tell you in terms of taking off. I had to take off a few days in February for snow because I couldn't get L to day care. It's so nerve-wracking.
Are you on FB? I'm in a local mom's facebook group, and there are always people willing to help out in a pinch. Also, some hospitals apparently do sick day care! I just found this article. haven't read most of it, but the first few paragraphs make me mad. www.parents.com/parenting/work/life-balance/a-working-moms-guide-to-sick-kids/
N40Mom, this is so rough as a working mom, I hate that we have to feel guilty to take time off for our kids, I'm so sorry your stressed but IMO work can suck it and my child comes first. (of course I say this but would be stressing about it the entire time and feeling guilty) I hope J is 100% soon
@adulruna, so glad D is growing so well! yay!! how exciting. Peeing hurt for awhile, again I'm not sure how long awhile was but I used the squirt bottle for weeks. You won't be peeing nails forever, lol. The investigation at work has died down but nothing has been reporting on yet so we are waiting on that.
anniebn, lol at consulting about the important thing with your hubs, don't forget next time The lamps were super cute!
