I'm just sitting here, staring at a cooing, smiling baby. Wondering how the fuck I slept through her hunger cues long enough for her to be wide awake. Like it's 8am or something. Should I just get up and pretend it actually is?
kfo22 I hope your lo decides to hsleep at least a little more tonight! I'm up feeding for the second time tonight but at least he slept in between! Two days with very little sleep during my first week back to work equaled total exhaustion tonight.
Hoping for a better day working from home today, the nanny should be here on time (her lo had a doctors appt. yesterday) and I won't have to entertain Max while trying to work.
4day weekend for meeee! I worked 5.5 days in a row though (5 were 11hr shifts) and my brain feels fried.
LO is awake, not too bad as he went down around 12-12:30, but he ate 7oz instead of his normal 3-4. I was hoping he'd make it a lil longer. Also, if LO would've slept at least 30more minutes I could've woken up dh. Grrrr lil baby!!!!
I'm up for the motn feed. Baby is back to her consistent ways. But I worry about the schedule when I go back to work. And I only have one long day! Five in a row is crazy KMW08. Sleep wishes for everybody!
I hate how all the time stamps on this thread say "now".
LO slept through the night again, only 6 hours this time though. He went to sleep later and got up earlier. Too late for me to go back to bed, so I am up for the day. I wish I could take every Wednesday off work to recharge. It's so fucking exhausting working a full time job, keeping up with the house, and taking care of LO. I don't want Gio to feel like another job to me. I love just hanging out with him, but I swear someone hits the fast forward button on the clock when I am with him.
And the cat just puked on the floor. Ugh.
I got all my pics off my iPhone printed from November and December. I wrote all the dates on them last night and it was crazy seeing how much he has changed in the past 2 months.
mander82 the time stamp thing sucks. I love everything else about the app though.
Rough night of sleep over here. Lots of waking up and stirring. I should've just got her all the way up and fed her at 2 and maybe I wouldn't have spent all night with my hand in her bassinet? My sleep logic is always bad in the moment. Nice thing is she'll probably sleep for another 3 hour stretch now so after this pump I can try to sleep a bit more.
spikesmom do you have a dedicated office space at home? I'm trying to think of what I'm going to do for my wfh days in march. I figure I'd hide in my bedroom but then the baby will be in there for naps and it might be distracting.
Liam has been up since 5. Hoping this drowsiness that's happening now means he is falling back to sleep. I don't know how anyone can work full time and have a baby not sleep through the night. You ladies are super heroes.
Oh my, I agree ^^ I don't know how you mommies stay up at night with a baby and then work all day!!! You really are a superhero!
Alan slept from 7:30-2, yay for that!! And then he just woke to eat at 2 and 5 and right back to sleep! He is now laughing and playing in his bouncy seat! He is about ready for another nap I believe. I feel as though I should be getting a shower right now because if I put it off it likely won't happen. We have nowhere to go today so I suppose a pj day wouldn't kill us.
I hope everyone has a great day! It's almost Friday, ladies!!
This morning lo woke up at 3:55 am with a blown out diaper. Poor little guy, I'd have woken up screaming too. he hasn't done that in awhile. The cries & whimpers until I got a boob in his mouth were just so sad.
Oh & Dh & I have colds & lo sounds stuffy. We all just sat around the house yesterday, I'm REALLY a hoping this bug doesn't linger.

In our current house I have my desk set up inside lo's closet (its a big closet) bc our condo is only 600 sqft so I work in his room with the door shut and the nanny comes into do diaper changes or I just do them after I nurse him. Then they stay in the living room...lo sleeps in the PNP in our bedroom so that is still available while I take over his room. When we move to our new (much bigger) house in March the 3rd bedroom will be my office. It is definitely more challenging working from home with lo than I thought it would be but I think once we get a real routine it will be easier!

I've just been feeling crappy and out of sorts the last day or two. I told H this morning that the only thing I could think to do was poas and see of that's what's going on. It would be some kind of impossible cosmic joke.... But I'm tempted to do it just to see.
sorry to still be complaining about TB fuckery, but they now are deleting AmyG*'s posts and content for no reason. They're pissed at her about clarifying the TOU to those who have asked.
I am STILL waiting for a full deletion. I've received no response from TN and TK.

WHAT?!
I need to email them today. Remind me what the way to contact them is?

Ridiculous right? She is the most benign person on that site...but so useful and worth her weight in gold. I hate them.
Or you can PM BumpCaitlin. Here are the emails you can mail: communitybump@xogrp.com, customersupport@xogrp.com, membersupport@thenest.com, membersupport@theknot.com. I'd bombard all of those. I actually got an email back from communitybump@xogrp.com, but have yet to hear anything back from TN and TK. I am emailing them daily. My account and content still exists on TN, but seems to be wiped from TB. I'll do a real check tomorrow when past the dumb 48 hr rule.
spikesmom working from home is definitely harder than I thought, too. I was under the impression newborns slept all day, ha.ha.
I noticed yesterday that AmyG* s posts weren't showing up. I was looking for a question I had asked on the breastfeeding board and couldn't find her response anymore even though I know she responded.

I saw her clarification, and I didn't think it was bad at all! She was just trying to be helpful! They're really awful over there. They haven't deleted my stuff yet either. Eta I just re-requested. We'll see how long it takes.

Isaac is 3 months today!! So crazy how fast time flies. Last night he made the Mama sound. He said it four times in a row while I was cooking lasagna. He kept trying to see what I was doing. He did it in front of DH and my sister. They were both yelling for me. I still think he is just exploring the sounds. So far he has done things that sound like Hi, moo, Mama, Dada and No.
