Emma is still a donkey. I want to go back to almost unicorn status. Please! 2 hr delay. My goodness is the snow messing with school schedules this week! I have worked one day so far.
Thanks for all the well wishes for DS. We've come to the conclusion that he's fine and yesterday was just a random combination of bad gas pains (DH accidentally bought bread with dairy in it) and possible growing pains as DS complained on and off yesterday that his legs hurt.

I hope (for the second day now) that I can keep up. Yesterday 22-year-old account manager that is all big-headed because he LIVES WITH OUR BOSS and is up his ass was all flitting around, and I like him, so I mostly don't care, but someone was bitching about him to me, and I was like "no one gets to bitch. I have the most billable hours since I've been back from maternity leave. I want to read all of the internets, too."
If it weren't for you guys, I'd like being busy...the day goes fast...but so do the randoms...
I feel like super woman right now. I'm probably jinxing myself by saying this, but oh well. We left our house at 3:30 and it's 5 and we are waiting and ready to board at the airport.
DS has slept almost the whole time and I carried a suitcase, my big tote, the diaper bag, and the car seat all by myself to the gate. Woo.
Ds is a unicorn and I love him. This morning though at 330 he had wiggled into a corner of his crib and his motion sensor alarm went off because he was wayyy away from the center where the pad is. Usually I can be a ninja and move him and run out of the room and we are good. I did this and went back to bed and 2 minutes later he was crying. I went in and snuggled and fed him... And then I had 45 minutes till I had to be up for work... So yea I couldn't go back to sleep ? today is going to be a multiple coffee kinda day.
apk4 You ARE super woman, holy heck! mrscjmb Glad your boy is feeling better.
DS went down at 9 and didn't get up until 4 when I checked on him. Something startled me out of sleep, and I decided to check the time. When I saw it was 4, I panicked that his monitor was off and went to check in him. He woke when I touched him, but that's cool! 4am is actually the perfect time for a boulder-draining nursing session because I have to be up at 5,
I am so rested, I could do a jig. Thank you, baby, for this random, wonderful gift you have given me.

DD was a gassy little mule last night. Now she's smiling at me instead of eating. DH is getting ready for work and she's totally distracted. It's OK though, I kind of like it when she's up at this time so DH can say goodbye to her. Work has been stressing him out a lot lately and baby smiles are a good way for him to start the day.

Today was the first time that DS was awake when DH was leaving for work. Daddy got all kinds of smiles this morning. It was special.
DS nursed the boulder boobs down lots. And now he has some serious milk-belly, and his little tummy is distended. I wonder if he feels the way I do when I get that third plate at Thanksgiving. He is seconds away from a food coma. Such a bad idea, but no regrets.

Fucking parent emails. Seriously, I will get back you but 24 hours to reply is common courtesy. I don't sit around at work all day. I am teaching your child. Drop the attitude and learn how to write cohesive sentences. Worse than your child!
