You guys how do people handle anxiety?? I feel like I'm freakin out, man. I'm having a screwdriver for now.
I'm sorry you are having a hard time. You can try some deep breathing through your nose. Try to identify the source of your anxiety. I find it helpful to think about other things in order to calm down. Sometimes I do math in my head.
Doing math in your head calms you down? That would give me more anxiety.
famousea and nicb13 , this is my dilemma. I hate to keep taking him to the doctor for nothing. We have enough medical bills without needlessly adding more. He doesn't ever cry or seem bothered when he eats or when he spits up. He is gaining weight fine. He just spits up all the time. I have to constantly clean his car seat because he spits up every time I put him in it. I didn't realize it could be a normal thing. On top of all that, he's had a cold for a month or at least the congestion. I'm just so frustrated and worried.
Sounds like my son honestly. I was terrified to have anyone hold him because he spit up so much. Not just after eating, but literally all the time. I used to cry because it stressed me out but nothing was wrong with him. I now realize how normal spitting up is. DD NEVER does though.

Yeah I went ahead and cancelled the appointment. Of course last night and this morning he didn't spit up at all. He ALWAYS spits up when I put him in his carseat and he didn't even do that today. I took it as a sign.
Side note: I've been making use of the leftover newborn diapers by opening them up and putting them on his chest under his chin before I strap him into his carseat. That way he doesn't ruin his outfit or his bib before we get to daycare.

Actually, the car seat is the only place DD spits up. It scrunches their stomach. Makes sense.
