I am cramping sooo bad! I was bleeding so bad yesterday that I almost passed out. The normal midol/Advil, hot baths and heating pad isn't even putting a dent in it. I just called the doctor, and she is going to see me at 3:20. Any advice until then? I am so miserable.

Honestly, the fetal position always helped me best. Someone told me it takes pressure off the uterus. Tampons always made my cramps worse too. If you have some raspberry tea, that helps take the edge off sometimes. A heating pad and a bath can help too. But, I had the unfortunate experience of passing out after a bath because the pain rushed back so fast, so be careful if you go that route.
Soooooo sorry! Hope your doc can bring you some relief!
gazelle86 - I have been taking four at a time. So, I'm already at the limit.
Thanks for the advice ladies!
Dude you poor thing. Yeah, I wouldn't take more than 4. I used to take 4 every 4 hours. Just awful. And I really have no useful advice. I used to lay on the floor and sob in the fetal position. Being a woman is SO tough sometimes.

TJ - thankfully, the bleeding is much better today. The cramps are still pretty bad though. I just went to my primary, because the last time I went to my OB, they told me it was normal after having a baby and to take some Advil. So, my primary at least gave me a prescription for some lortab. Of course, she recommended that I go see my OB and insist that they do something about the heavy bleeding. She thought I may need a D and C or something. I think I am just going to wait and see if this keeps happening. At least I have the pain medicine for now!
