My appt went ok. The tech was pretty sure she saw a sac in my uterus which is good. It was so small though. She didn't seem concerned. I'll feel better once I get my betas this afternoon.
Work seems to be going better than last week. Hope it stays that way!
FX for good betas littlelion! I had 2 done last week, but now my DR said he isn't going to do anymore. My first apt isn't until May 6th, which seems like forever and I'm getting more and more worried each day.
So a little random, but that's what we're here for right? Has anyone ever had the "TERRA" brand veggie chips? They have a Mediterranean one that's sooooo good. Pretty sure I'm addicted.

Um, yeah! Saturday I had the one with purple potatoe, carrot and a japanese pumpkin. I can't buy those, I eat the bag all by myself!

Is that the "Exotic Harvest"? We tried that one too!! If you haven't tried Mediterranean, you should. But yes, could totally eat the whole bag ha ha ha.

I'm finish my associates degree this summer and transferring to another university to complete my b.s. I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb on this college visit & I hate it

I haven't been able to even find a free second to jump in on the randoms but I need to be better about it!
My first appointment isn't until May 3rd - which seems like forever away. Our OB doesn't even do blood work until after the dating ultrasound at that appointment. This time around I have ZERO morning sickness which feels bizarre because with our 15 month old I was uncontrollably sick for weeks straight around this time.
On another note, its not a very nice day in Connecticut and supposed to rain all day tomorrow - ugh - as if pregnancy tiredness ins't enough!

My betas look good! Beta #1 was 372 last weds, Beta #2 is 4,234! I found an hcg calc and I think that's a doubling time of less than 2 days. What a relief. So happy!
I asked my sister to let me borrow money. She said yes, but now trying to figure out if she can get it to me before Thursday.

What made you hate it? I've had different school experiences. I've been the only minority, the only girl (math classes) & the oldest (had to do some undergrad classes for my masters). I hope you find a way to push on thru!

littlelion I think I just felt like the "old" person. Everyone was super nice and the campus is awesome but I just feel out of place being so much older than the other people at the transfer seminar. It just makes me mad at myself for not sticking with college when I went right after high school.

And I want to enjoy the experience but at the same time I can't exactly join up the sororities and such seeing as I'm almost 30 with 2 kids and another on the way. So I'm just trying to figure out where I fit.

Fitting in is hard at any age. Hopefully you meet some nice people and find other ways to join the college community. If you have the extra energy for it!

My mom was a "non-traditional" student (she got her associates when I was in fifth grade and her B.A. a year before I got mine). I remember her saying once she was taking classes within her major and getting to know her classmates better it became much easier to feel like she was a part of the school. I hope it is the same way for you. Don't get too mad at yourself for not sticking with it earlier, you weren't ready then and that is OK. The important thing is you're ready now and finishing your goal. Plus, don't forget what a positive role model you are being for your daughters- I know seeing my mom going to school and having "study sessions" with her made a huge positive impact on my life.

Had some brownish spotting last night, well when I called the OB's office they decided to send me to get blood work because of my history of low progesterone. So I'm headed there now. :/

Thinking of you! I know it's horribly worrying. Praying for all to be well.

I hope it's nothing mrsp, and that the bw eases your mind.

Fx that it's nothing!
These first couple of months are so nerve wracking. I'm being paranoid now because I'm not really feeling any symptoms other than a bit more tired and hungry. But I just hit 5 weeks, and I think it was 7 with DD before I felt anything.

My random is work is super slow today, but was so busy this weekend that I had to cancel plans and I wish I could just leave and be like "Well, I already put in those hours this weekend/most nights this week" but someone will need me if I leave. Annoying.
Maybe I'll just search for awesome maternity clothes instead...

Sending positive thoughts your way! I also have a history of low progesterone (now sure if that's what caused my mc in April 2014 or not) but I used progesterone suppositories, 200mg 2x a day, with my rainbow and so they said I could use them this time as well. (Even though my progesterone wasn't technically low this time around) I hope you are able to be seen right away!

I did the suppositories with DD2 because it was low. However, with her I went in for initial b/w at 5 weeks. This time when I got my bfp all they asked was if i have a history of miscarriage (which I do not) and then scheduled b/w and an u/s for almost 7 weeks. So I'm a little frustrated that they never thought my levels should be checked before. But it is what it is and I should get my results in another hour or so.
